Hotel Gaudí in Reus

I booked in the last of the last minute and the price was the best in town. The staff was friendly and polite, always smiling. The room was decent size, the view was unbelievable, good bed. The room cleaning was spotless. As many of the customers said, the hotel definitely needs a refurbishment to be brought in 21st century but everything has its own charm. The only things I need to mention are that there was no cold water on the tap although I let it run for a while and the iPhone/ipad security settings are not compatible with hotel’s wifi. The other Android device connected without problem. The breakfast was decent overall. The watermelon was unbelievable. Thank you for an excellent last minute stay!

Good value hotel - room was big and quiet at night. Air conditioning was fine but not super sophisticated. Breakfast is good and generous. Given the cost of rooms here vs other hotel, I think it is worth it, I was happy to have stayed.

Travelled to Reus for a quick 2 night stay from UK. First time travelling to the city. Literally booked Hotel gaudi on the basis of good reviews, price, value and location.
The location is honestly fantastic there is NO negatives to say in location it is 5 min walking to the centre square. Supermarkets and cafes are allllll around the hotel however we were yet to see a restaurant that offered hot food. It was very difficult to find ANY restaurants with english menus and english speaking staff. If you are vegetarian it is also difficult finding breakfast or lunch places as all is meat. We paid around £50 per night for the hotel. Upon arrival one of the young members of male staff was super helpful he had dark hair and allowed us to check in and waited until 18:00pm as our flight was late. We needed an iron and he was helpful and gave it us immediately for a 20€ deposit. Which we got back when returning. He was very polite and helped us with a map and showed us local attractions. The bedroom was bare minimal. Very very clean the hotel in general was immaculate smelt clean and had minimal services. We had a fridge in the room. Bathroom was fully functioning hairdryer was terrible make sure you bring your own. Lots of towels and shower was amazing and hot! Over the period of the stay we cane across a different lady member of staff on reception which we asked information about travel for the airport/restaurants/ directions etc. She was very abrupt rude and unwilling to help us unlike the other guy on arrival. We asked her about the heating in the room as we were very unlucky with the weather the room was freezing at night! She told us that is not correct and the heating would work. We tried several time and it did not! However to our surprise after asking it then turned on. So who knows what happened there? Generally value for money YES. Location BRILLIANT. To sleep and spent minimal hours in YES definitely book but do not expect to much.
