We stayed as your guests and were impressed by the kindness of all the staff, from the reception to the housekeeping team. Truly excellent service from everyone. Although the hotel is rated as 3 stars, it feels more like a 4-star property. The food is varied and tasty, with something for everyone, though the selection could perhaps be a bit larger or more traditional. The rooms are fairly clean and comfortable. Every evening there is entertainment suitable for all ages. The location is also great — supermarkets, a bus stop, and the main street are nearby, and the beach is only a 5–10 minute walk away.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Best Mediterraneo, From check to check we had nothing but an amazing time, Staff were absolutely fantastic during the whole stay, fresh food always on offer throughout all the dining times during the day, we booked to stay with our 6 month at the time and came prepared with a travel crib as we had heard no cots were provided, to our surprise a Crib was all made up for us arrival without even having to ask, To me this is a sign of going that extra mile without any prompt needed by us.
If there was one thing that could be change would just be the pool being heated slightly, granted we visited back end of September through to October so wasn't expecting baking temps but the pool was an ice block at times xD.
Overall would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a budget friendly hotel with excellent services and amazing facilities will definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks to all the hotel staff.

Nice hotel for a small budget. This hotel situated close to the Main Street with restaurants and shops but a bit to the side so you don’t hear noise in the night from the people who like to party. Everything was clean and nice, room was comfortable with a balcony and chairs to sit. Swimming pool was nice and we always could find beds to lay and tan. Good in the restaurant was fine. For dinner I liked octopus with potato and mussels. Drinks at the bar were nice, and the evening show when there were dancers was also very cool. Next to the hotel is bus stop and supermarket and little souvenir shops, so you can buy any thing you need.

Having recently stayed at this hotel on the 5th floor I can honestly say it is a beautiful hotel. Its within walking distance of 2 beaches, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and bars. It is the perfect location. The staff are friendly, welcoming and approachable. The hotel was clean, modern and we had a great pool view room. We didn't try the food here so I can't comment on that but the hotel in general I would highly recommend. It has a really good size adults pool and a smaller pool for the kids. For a 3 star I was impressed and would definitely book to stay here again in the future

Great location of hotel, close to beaches and shopping center. Rooms are quite small and at the pool side very noisy till 23.30 from show and party music. Considering these are family rooms with smaller children, they should have better sound proofing, or not be family rooms. Between the rooms you also hear people talking, knocking on doors etc. Our room had 2 double beds, but only towels for 2. Had to ask 4x to get towels for 4 people and to make up the room. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they work so hard. Coffee is awful but the rest of the food is very nice with lots of options. Drinks are at a fare price here. With a particular chef, the meat is way too salty and we left it on our plates, even after my spouse asked for less salt. The rest of our stay this was much better! Pool is very crowded, with that kind of people that go out early (before pool opens) to claim beds with their towels. Also the pool rules clearly stated in the sign says: no floaters and no balls in the pool, but this is totally ignored and not enforced by all pool guards and ignorant guests argue with the guards why they can on one day and another day not. Also this improved during our stay, so they are doing very much their best!

Overall our experience was good. We thought the food was excellent and the service in the restaurant too. The entertainment team worked so hard and were so lovely ( do they ever have a day off??) In fact, I cannot really fault any of the staff for how hard they work and how friendly they were.The pool was also good and there were plenty of sunbeds too.. one tiny gripe is that people reserved sunbeds for more than the 30 minutes which is stated that we are allowed . The rooms are really quite tiny for 4 people but I accept you don't spend a lot of time in the room on holiday. You could definitely do with more storage space as there was very little. I also don't think the rooms were cleaned very well ...the beds were made every day yes and the bathroom was tidied but as we were there for 2 weeks, things were a little grubby in week 2 and I feel this is an area that could definitely be improved without too much effort. Floors swept , shower cleaned toilet cleaned etc should be done regularly during a stay.

I am staying in the hotel right now as I write this there only a couple of issues the Lifts there two in main reception and one around the side used by cleaners or service. The lifts are not in order of merit if your on second floor you press lift to come it doesn't come to your floor even if no one used the lift there a issue with them i think your waiting ages for them. There a lot of kids in hotel they could have pressed all buttons who knows.
The room are cleaned everyday 🙌 and towels are changed as well beds made brilliant floors are clean which you want the hotel clean the pool side toilets are cleaned often some of the sunbed need replacing.
The food is really good one such guy at breakfast who cooks the eggs will cook my eggs as I want them the guy who cooks the omelets is helpful as well he will make them as you like them plus he makes the pancakes as well over excellent. The hotel is not so far from main town if your looking for a great meal in town you must Visit Tim and Jane at the Old Brown Cow near the Dolphin Hotel the Pub Resturant caters for every possible needs the beers and cocktails are excellent and refreshing the locals visit there as well Sunday Dinners are really tasty and yummy so if your look for a Sunday Roast Visit Old Brown cow closed Tuesdays. So back to hotel all staff do speak great English which is a great bonus. 👍 thumbs up to the Best Mediterraneo Hotel Salou.

We have just got back from a 7 day stay at the hotel. 9 of us went and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was great, a 10 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops and places to eat if you're feeling peckish. The prices in the shops were really good aswell!
The hotel: We had 2 separate bookings and called the hotel prior to arrival to get the rooms close together which was done without hesitation. They were clean and tidy with housekeeping everyday if you want it. If not the staff are on hand for clean towels etc if you need them. The food was a big buffet style and breakfast was almost the same everyday (fresh cooked pancakes and fried egg, cereal, fruit, English sausages etc) which was lovely and the lunch and evening meal was different everyday with some staple foods being kept (spaghetti and pizza). The pool area was clean and tidy and getting a sunbed wasn't a problem so long as you were up in time (snooze you lose). There is a bar by the pool along with pool tables, table tennis etc and served snacks all day (apart from lunch and meal times) and the staff were great!
Entertainment: The entertainment staff were the best! There were different activities around the stage and pool during the day that catered for adults and kids. It was run by Megan and Denise and everyone loved them! The evenings started off with a kids disco where Megan and Denise interacted with the kids and was followed by themed nights such as bingo (the winners of the bingo got a shower of balloons and then a prize later on ;-) ), karaoke, cabaret etc.
Overall, I would 100% recommend staying here...don't be put off by the negative reviews, after all you can't please everyone.

The rooms are very small and for 3 of us trying to live out of it for 2 weeks with little storage was a struggle but this was the only drawback otherwise a very nice hotel with good food and excellent entertainment team Megan and Denise who work so very hard day and night to keep everyone happy. Location is perfect from our perspective lots of shops bars restaurants surrounding the hotel bus stop right outside of hotel if you're wanting to go further afield. Beach also a short 10min walk away. Majority of staff are friendly and happy to help. Nice pool but no balls/inflatable toys allowed for safety reasons

Pros: Great location, within 5 minutes walk of the town, beach and plenty of restaurants. Room was spacious for a couple, but was cramped for my family. Very nice bathroom and great cleaning service everyday. Entertainment was great, varied everyday, we had a lot of fun! Pool was clean and the perfect temperature, great choice of drinks.
Cons: Charges for things that should be standard, such as kettle, towels. As vegetarians the food was limited. I think it is a culture thing in Spain but fish or pork was in plenty of things that would have been perfectly good vegetarian dishes like "roasted vegetables" nothing is labelled with ingredients. It could say "vegetable soup" and there would be ham in in. Ended up eating the same things, plain pasta with tomato sauce and salad most days with potatoes. I would not come again because of the food.
