Hotel Planas in Salou

Hotel was good.
Staff horrendous
The receptionist I faced was terrible. I worked in hotels for 5 years and never experienced such disrespect and such aggression from one person.

I left an expensive bracelet in my room when I checked out, came back 2 hours later to ask could I get it as check in is 3pm and this was 1pm and I was faced by the rudest receptionist who never took her eyes off her computer and when I asked her could she please check as she said the cleaners didn’t find anything when they cleaned it to check again she threatened to call the police on me as she said people are in the room at This stage. Which isn’t possible as check in is at 3. I have had this bracelet since I graduated college and for this woman to treated to call the police on me as all I wanted is what is mine back. This is no way to treat people or guests. If anyone ever asks me where to stay in Salou I would say avoid this hotel at all costs.

The service was terrible, were rude and came across unhelpful when there was a bad smell from our room and not a double bed they said they couldn’t do anything about it and as soon as we said we would like to complain offered us another room.

Rooms are tiny and I am taller than the bed. No water in the room or WiFi information ,for £ 70 more I could have stayed elsewhere that is much better. Room is like a prison cell. Not that I have been in one. Never again
