The location was convenient, and the room was clean and well maintained.

The location is great, right on Gran Via, easy to get to anywhere by subway.
The service was terrible. One of the waiters in the hotel restaurant was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. The room was poorly soundproofed. There were small insects in the room; I got bitten more than a dozen times, and when I told the front desk, they insisted it was an allergic reaction. 🤣

We booked a room with a sofa and a bed, and the photos showed a twin room, but we were given a double room. After communicating with the front desk, they said we would have to wait if we wanted a twin room, so we compromised and agreed to stay on the sofa. They said they would make it up for us, and we even told the front desk before we left, but it wasn't made up...

The hotel in the city center is very clean and comfortable. The room facilities are complete, and slippers and bottled water are well prepared.

It has a European classical style and is fashionable. The surrounding area is very prosperous and convenient. There is a wooden elevator inside, and the lobby bathroom on the first floor is quite thoughtful. There is a tourist consultation. The handsome guy at the front desk helped me book tickets for Mamma Mia and help me book a taxi. I like this hotel and will probably choose it again next time.

The hotel is located on Gran Via, the most central location in Madrid. It is surrounded by pedestrian streets, business districts, and many gourmet restaurants. The room is comfortable, and welcome champagne is provided. It is a very good hotel. The room is a little small, it's an old house!

Real gem of a hotel - excellent value for its location and the service you get. I travelled for a conference and spent 3 nights here, and it was so comfortable - pillows and bed were perfect, Wifi excellent, and staff friendly. It was also a quiet room despite its central location.
Really easy to get to from the airport - a 25 min bus ride and 10 min walk, and walking distance to many central attractions. I'd definitely stay at this or another Petit Palace again, I was that impressed.
I didn't have any breakfast as this was provided at the conference but did grab a cheese, tomato and ham croissant from the cafe one morning which was tasty.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Petite Palace Hotel! The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — you can tell that cleanliness is a real priority here.
One of my favorite details was the antique cast iron elevator — it gives the hotel such a unique, historic character. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and making sure everything was perfect.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience — cozy, charming, and full of character. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I really enjoyed the hotel's hospitality. The service is great. They made our bed every morning, the shower is clean, the service in the lobby is great, always with a pleasant smile and good advice. The location of the hotel is fantastic and you can get anywhere from there. The hotel is located opposite a metro station in the heart of Madrid in a fun neighborhood full of local bars and restaurants, so the prices are low compared to places for tourists.

Super courteous staff, very helpful. This accommodation has a quaint café attached to it serving great coffee and snacks; plus, the location is walkable to every tourist site, making it ideal for travellers. Very close to the metro station as well!

Booked this hotel very last minute since our air b&b fell through. The room was decorated very nicely and the beds was very comfortable . Great location with amazing restaurants right across the street!!

I came for menu of the day during lunch and I was not disappointed! This is a nice restaurant and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and a good price. The wine was amazing and the límon helado is a must have!! I will be returning next time I'm in Madrid.

The food was very good, and the prices were ok. Staff was helpful and made good recommendations. We were here with a non-spanish speeking familiy and ordering worked out ok.

Honestly - having just finished a tour of northern Spain (Gijón, Bilbao and San Sebastián), this is the best meal we had start to finish - including two dinners at Michelin star restaurants.
The rigatoni is exquisite, the tomato salad is simply amazing, and the desert - DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE DESERT.
Stop contemplating and GO!

This place is phenomenal and cozy, the calamari I order were off the charts good. This place is also kids friendly and our waiter took the initiative to modify one of our plates to accomodate our children. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Second oldest taberna in Madrid and they're loyal to authenticity. Simply but deliciously prepared Spanish dishes. Ambiance is cozy and pretty. All meals of the day are served.

A lifetime classic in the city centre of Madrid. Do not hesitate to taste delicious Spanish food watered with oaked red wine. Wonderful and very kindly service. Will come back as soon as I have a compromise to walk some guiris round the city ;)
