The only good thing is the location, it was reficulously over-priced, noisy until late morning outside every night, the air-con never worked and none of the staff knew how to use; on top of that it was outrageously hot because it's madrid and we couldn't open the window because it was so loud, some rooms don't even have a window, no mini bar or fridge to cool water and no safe. The staff were however friendly but there was nothing here to justify the price.

Neat and clean rooms but small in size, convenient location as a lot of restaurant options are available and also the metro station is nearby.
But the staffs don't know to speak English, they use only single remote control for all the air conditions in the hostel. So if at all you need to adjust the temperature of the AC you need to contact the hostel staff.

Only book this place to store your luggage or if you have bad hearing and don’t care much for hygiene. A club under which plays loud boring music all night and walls as if of paper. You hear every step and whisper by neighbors around. Mould in the bathroom and bedsheets not clean. It was a “cheap” option in an expensive city, but it’s better to allow yourself a good rest after a day in this amazing city. Hopefully you can afford not to stay at Matheu.

Stayed for 2 nights. Location is very convenient with a lot of dining and shops. Really walkable. Reception at Hotel Victoria was smooth, staff were kind and friendly. The room is ok for the 2 night stay. Comfortable, however I would have wanted the bathroom to be more clean as I saw some hair on the sink and tub. Room can get noisy if you are a light sleeper since restaurants are outside, although this did not bother us. I would still stay here the next time aim back.

We requested two twin beds and were notified well ahead of time that the hotel received that request. We notified the hotel well in advance that we would arrive late — after midnight. It turned out there was no room available with two beds. But we were told the room had a king size bed. When we got to the room, we saw that it was only a double bed. There were no cups or glasses in the room. We appreciated the air conditioning in the room. We were uncomfortable during the night for the two nights of our stay. On the second morning of our stay, the bread was stale; otherwise the breakfasts were okay.

The hotel boasts a prime location right next to Marquis Square, close to the subway and bus stops. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety of options. Check-in is convenient and the service is excellent. Unfortunately, the bathroom is extremely small.

This property was great, lovely rooms and a really central location which was perfect. The staff at Hotel Victoria 4 were lovely and really helpful.

At the time of choosing, this was one of the cheapest options with breakfast. The space is very small, and the room is a bit worn, but still neat. Towels are changed and cleaned daily. The breakfast isn't great, but it's a good meal. If you don't plan on staying in your room all day, it's fine...

Really disappointed by the poor beer selection here. Food was average, place is nice. Likely not coming back.

Was expecting a craft beer place. Rather disappointed with the choice. Service was efficient but not fantastic. Food rather greasy and heavy but overall good for the price. Could easily improve with a larger selection of beers and a bit more friendliness.
