Extremely friendly, polite and helpful staff that go above and beyond their job description to help you out. Rooms are neat and clean and fulfill most of your functional needs even if they are small. Cleanliness is maintained and they even managed to surprise us with a nice little bottle of champagne on our last night here. We chose the place due to its central location and affordability and enjoyed our stay.

This is a bare bones type of place and if you’re ok with that, then it’s excellent. No amenities but the room was clean and the location was amazing. Staff both times I stayed were friendly and helpful, walked me to my room!

I absolutely recommend this place! Its nearby a lot of shops and its a 5 minute walk to the metro station. Very close to main attractions and convenient stores. Staff were kind and attentive. Would stay again!

Honestly for what we paid, this was an amazing little place. We only stayed one night but I would have stayed more. It was not super big but we didn’t need anything bigger. It had the cutest little balcony overlooking the beautiful streets. Amazing location for those without a vehicle. I love and highly recommend! Staff was beyond nice also.

Pésimo/ AWFUL. See in English bellow as well. He pagado 60 euros por la habitación 49 que da al patio, donde hay unas chicas en frente hablando a gritos y que no te dejan estar en paz. Por otro lado, la cama es una auténtica m***da. Yo lo siento, pero me he alojado en hostales de 1 estrella y no estaban tan mal como este. En la habitación no hay una mesa y apenas hay espacio. El papel higiénico ni fue cambiado para variar, como que fue tirado al váter o al sueño y puesto de nuevo en su sitio. LA-MEN-TA-BLE. Además estás en recepción esperando a que el chico te atienda y resulta que se ha escondido porque ha visto mi enfado en vez de coger y atenderme para solucionar el problema. Aunque sea hacer un refund de 30 euros. Ratas. Nada recomendable. I paid 60 euros for room 49, which faces an inner courtyard where a group of girls were shouting nonstop — impossible to get any peace and quiet. On top of that, the bed was absolutely terrible. Honestly, I’ve stayed in 1-star hostels that were way better than this place. There wasn’t even a table in the room, and the space was ridiculously tight. To make matters worse, the toilet paper hadn’t even been replaced — it looked like it had been thrown on the floor or into the toilet and then put back like nothing happened. DIS-GUS-TING. And when I went to reception, the guy literally hid when he saw I was upset, instead of stepping up to fix the issue — not even offering a partial refund of 30 euros. Total scam. Not recommended at all.

They are remodeling the property so I couldn’t sleep because they were literally drilling the wall from the hallway to my room.

A good place in the very center of Madrid. For a really cheap price we got a perfectly clean room, discount in a public parking and lovely people working there. If we return to Madrid, for sure we will go to to Hostal Abril

Real gem of a hotel - excellent value for its location and the service you get. I travelled for a conference and spent 3 nights here, and it was so comfortable - pillows and bed were perfect, Wifi excellent, and staff friendly. It was also a quiet room despite its central location.
Really easy to get to from the airport - a 25 min bus ride and 10 min walk, and walking distance to many central attractions. I'd definitely stay at this or another Petit Palace again, I was that impressed.
I didn't have any breakfast as this was provided at the conference but did grab a cheese, tomato and ham croissant from the cafe one morning which was tasty.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Petite Palace Hotel! The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — you can tell that cleanliness is a real priority here.

One of my favorite details was the antique cast iron elevator — it gives the hotel such a unique, historic character. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and making sure everything was perfect.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience — cozy, charming, and full of character. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

It was close to main tourist attractions and restaurants.

I really enjoyed the hotel's hospitality. The service is great. They made our bed every morning, the shower is clean, the service in the lobby is great, always with a pleasant smile and good advice. The location of the hotel is fantastic and you can get anywhere from there. The hotel is located opposite a metro station in the heart of Madrid in a fun neighborhood full of local bars and restaurants, so the prices are low compared to places for tourists.

Super courteous staff, very helpful. This accommodation has a quaint café attached to it serving great coffee and snacks; plus, the location is walkable to every tourist site, making it ideal for travellers. Very close to the metro station as well!

Booked this hotel very last minute since our air b&b fell through. The room was decorated very nicely and the beds was very comfortable . Great location with amazing restaurants right across the street!!

The food was delicious!! We had dinner early with a 6 years old and we really had a nice time. Great service, the staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place. And I will for sure come back with friends or family.

Such a lovely restaurant. We had the spicy nachos, Thai chicken curry, and pizza. All the food was flavorful and delicious. The interior design was stunning and the staff very welcoming and friendly. The only thing I didn't like so much was the slightly slow service, but I can understand because the place was fully packed. Recommended for an Italian dinner while in Madrid. ??

A brochure, but great food! Try the starters, it's a must. Great for sharing with friends. It's cosy and warm but always crowded, so book in advance!

I came for menu of the day during lunch and I was not disappointed! This is a nice restaurant and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and a good price. The wine was amazing and the límon helado is a must have!! I will be returning next time I'm in Madrid.
