The hotel is in the Barajas area, not far from Madrid Airport. There’s a metro station about a 10-minute walk away, and it’s just one stop from the terminals, though you do need to walk about 10 minutes with your luggage to reach the metro.
The hotel looks nice and is kept in good condition. Our room, like most IBIS rooms, wasn’t very big, but it was comfortable and practical. The bed, just like the room, was compact but very comfortable. The shower was great, and the room had a decent A/C, a hair dryer, and very good Wi-Fi.
The service was very good. Breakfast is simple but tasty and enough to start the day. It is served daily between 4 am to 10:30 am.
Prices are reasonable too.
Overall, this is a good choice for an overnight stay between flights. We arrived early in the morning and left the next day at noon, and getting to the city center by metro was easy.
I stayed at the Ibis Styles a couple of days before, and by far the stuff at the Ibis Barajas is way better and much more capable.

For a budget hotel, the room met the basic requirements for a short overnight stay. However, there are quite a few noticeable wear and tear. I would have rated the stay five stars for the purpose it serves if not for one major issue: the room smelled like TOILET on the train, and the odor persisted from the moment we entered until checkout. In addition, the shower door was not properly sealed, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor.
Overall, convenient for an early flight, but the room condition and cleaning need attention.
