Positive thing is the view over the area.
But it is the worst hotel ever. Nothing is finished, it is discusting, not clean, staff don't care at all (except for the man in the house).
It is to expensive for the area, they have simply given up.
But the money they earn went for their nice new range rover..... They should simply be ashame that is not the way to treat guests......

I hate to say this, as I know how important the business is to these small run villas, but unless you're absolutely desperate, don't stay here. Yes it was very cheap and the views are very nice from certain vantages, but the place is dirty and falling apart. No hot water so didn't shower during my stay. Bathroom falling apart. Window screen broken so any creatures can come through at night. Beds and bedding dirty. Towels beyond usable. Mosquito nets beyond use. Safety also a concern. Bathroom window not secure and front door - single small latch. You're given a luggage padlock to secure you're room when you leave. As mentioned, views are nice and good location to the city centre, but I would not stay here if given the choice. Id rather pay more and they upgraded this inn.

Friendly hostesses, very kind and welcoming, no problems. Balcony with a beautiful view of the sights of Ella. The only downside is a slightly dirty bed and something black was constantly falling from the roof and something was running there at night) but this is Sri Lanka, problems with the floor and ceiling are common here.

Unfortunately, I arrived very late and didn't feel like looking for somewhere else. The door could only be locked with a padlock and the room wasn't really clean. The best thing about the accommodation was the view, which is really beautiful.

You should totally stay here in Ella! We had an amazing time with our group of 13, and the staff really took care of everyone. Most rooms have awesome mountain views, and it's super close to the city center, just a short walk. Plus, the free breakfast was delicious!

​What truly set them apart was their honesty and helpfulness. One of our friends accidentally left their wallet behind; the staff found it, called us immediately, and even couriered it to our next stop. Such amazing, polite, and friendly people.

I truly loved the view from our hotel room: verdant mountains, birdsong, and the soothing sound of a nearby stream — it really felt like being in the heart of nature. The receptionist and two staff members kindly carried all six of our suitcases up several flights of stairs to our rooms. Overall, everything was excellent.

Our stay at Ella Rock Heaven was truly special. The property offers a breathtaking view of the mountains, a panorama that accompanied us at every moment and made the experience even more magical.

The location is very convenient: just a 5-minute walk from the center, perfect for reaching restaurants, little shops, and the main spots in Ella without giving up the peace of the area.

The staff is kind, helpful, and always smiling. We felt warmly welcomed and supported with every little need, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The cleanliness is excellent as well: tidy, well-kept rooms that made us feel comfortable right away.
