Sanaya Mansion in Matara

We ordered through Uber Eats and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We specifically requested the Kottu to be vegetarian, but it arrived with meat. On top of that, the order was delivered almost one hour late. The food itself could have been good, but the wrong preparation and long delay really affected our experience. Hope the restaurant can improve its accuracy and timing in the future.

We held our wedding at Sanaya Mansion on the 15th of September, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Although we had paid for 140 guests, seating was arranged for only about 120, leaving several of our guests without proper places to sit. They had also assured us that the venue could accommodate up to 160 guests if needed, but this was clearly not the case.

The air conditioning was highly inadequate, making the hall uncomfortable throughout the event, and the toilets were poorly maintained. Overall, the service fell far short of what was promised, and we were left extremely dissatisfied on what was meant to be one of the most important days of our lives.

To make things worse, the dressing/fitting room they provided was in terrible condition—like an old, neglected space with no AC at all. Overall, the service did not match what was promised, and we were left extremely dissatisfied on such an important day.

Ordered food from this place last Sunday (07 Sept) and had a disappointing experience. Ordered 3 fried rice portions and an egg fried rice portion to receive spoilt sticky rice. When spoke to the management, a woman from the cashier responded rudely saying that the kitchen is busy that day, and can not be dealing with my complain. When I kept on ringing them even the day after that day, the management was merely telling me that actions were taken to fire the poor chef from the kitchen, unless addressing the real concern in checking the quality of food before delivering it to customers. Absolute shame on them and the remedy they gave me (after several complains made and talking to different people from the management) was to order from them on another occasion to receive the so-called better food from them. So the management would think that a customer would come to them again after such an experience! Would never visit or recommend this place to anyone.
