We enjoyed so much our stay at Hotel Vacanza so that we wanted to extend 2 times, unfortunately the 2nd time the room was booked so we had to say goodbye early. As we traveled along Sri Lanka, I must say the staff here is very professional though they gave the feeling like family. They are quiet and friendly but never annoying, only there when you need them. The reception/manager Situn was very helpful. We took the taxi from them with the electric car and it was super pleasant 2:30 drive for us, our baby slept the whole drive and we didn’t feel tired to have any stop in between. The breakfast was extremely good and generous. Room is spacious and for Sri Lanka we think it’s worth the money. Location is center, beach is across the street but the hotel is not directly on the main road so it’s quiet. You can hear and see birds in the morning. They also have beach towels, pool and table tennis tables, small gym. One downside is the dirty stream in front of the hotel, it didn’t bother us as we don’t sit at the balcony because of the strong sun. Also there’s no elevator. If we come back to the beach in Sri Lanka, we will definitely come back to Mirissa and Hotel Vacanza.

Had a wonderful one-night stay in hotel Vacanza. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Perfect place to unwind. Would definitely visit again! Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Hotel Vacanza for anyone visiting Mirissa!

The Food: Awesome, delicious breakfast. Kudos to the kitchen guys!
The People: The owner, Chanka Amarasinghe, is a true gentleman—very knowledgeable about the local area and very polite. The manager, Sitham Dehen, was also super helpful.
Location: Great spot, very convenient.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is a bit old, but generally clean. The staff were polite. Breakfast was very tasty (omelette, toast, butter and jam, coffee/tea, fruit, pancakes, yogurt).
Cons: There were small stains on the pillows, a moldy smell in the bathrooms, and the air conditioning only blew cold air with no temperature control. However, this didn't spoil our stay.

We had a great stay here.
Location: very near to Mirissa beach. Just walkable. Near to main road. Will get bus to Galle and Colombo from the road
Rooms: Really large rooms , clean , nice washrooms, huge balcony.
Staff: very friendly. Always there to help. They arranged airport taxi in a very good rate cheaper PickMe.
There are facilities for pool game, Table tennis etc.

This is a simple but clean and comfortable place to stay in a great location, only 1 minute walk to the beach, with many restaurants and beach bars nearby for easy choice. The waiter was very friendly and the breakfast was great, the only downside was that there was a stinky ditch next to it.

The hotel is right across from the beach, and the location is great. The breakfast is very rich, and the staff is friendly. The room is clean and the environment is OK. It is quiet at night

The room was on the third floor. The waiter was very nice. He helped with the luggage and brought breakfast. It was 1,800 rubles and it was OK. There was a stinky ditch at the door that hindered the view. There were some ants and mosquitoes in the room, but the beach nearby was very good.
