Really Bad Experience The main disappointment was the water policy. We checked into the hotel around 8 PM, and the next morning we requested an additional water bottle. The front office informed us that it would be chargeable, saying that we were only entitled to two 1L water bottles since we were checking out that day. This means for a one-night stay you only get two bottles of water, which was quite surprising. We have stayed in many hotels across Sri Lanka, and we have never faced such an issue. As a Sri Lankan, it was very disappointing to hear this, especially because most hotels in the country do not charge guests for basic drinking water. I also need to mention the room condition. When we checked into the room, there was a water leak in the bathroom, and the bathroom floor was already filled with water. The bathtub was cracked, which made it quite dangerous to use. We informed the bellboy when he brought our luggage, but no one came to check the issue or followed up with us. Additionally: • One of the room lights was blinking constantly and not working properly. • The telephone line was unstable, and we had to call several times before getting a clear connection to reception. • The AC unit had missing cover brackets, making it difficult to control the air conditioning properly. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to travel to this area.
