I had a pleasant stay at Cinnamon Bay Beruwala. The positive aspects include excellent service, starting from the warm welcome with a towel and juice at check-in, continuing throughout our stay until check-out

My friends had wonderful 15nights at Cinnamon bey Beruwala. Highly recommend to everyone. They organised small cake on my friend's birthday and room decorated with suprise. Really amazing! Thank you for everything!

It a nice hotel situated in a calm and peaceful place , kids friendly and the pools are really good , staff also helpful , breakfast was not not as expected and to be honest not worth for the money at all , also dinner buffet was so terrible for the money which paid Overall decent time spent Not worth for the money !

I really like the breakfast and dinner of this hotel, and the view from my room is amazing as well.

On the downside, the reading light was broken, there were no bathroom slippers or robes, and the shampoo, lotion, and conditioner bottles were made of ceramic. If these ceramic bottles break, they could cause injury

Both rooms we booked had great sea views. The beach was perfect for a stroll; the waves were gentle, and it only took a few minutes to walk to the beach. Compared to other attractions, I preferred staying at the hotel

The service was really good, and the guy who gave the red envelopes had a really warm smile. His smile can really make people happy. I just learned to swim not long ago, and I am super obsessed with the swimming pool

The beach is uncrowded, but busy with local "helpers," and there's virtually nowhere to go outside the grounds. On the plus side, the breakfast is decent. At around $300 a night, it's not worth the money

However, the service does need some improvement. The contact numbers provided, even within the room, were not functioning properly, which made it difficult to reach room service or other hotel services when needed

I would especially like to mention the kind and helpful staff, who made a good impression on me

I recently stayed at NH Bentota, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a relaxing atmosphere

There were some stains on the bed linen, but apparently it just couldn't be washed out, I found one or two

Otherwise, everything was super, clean, nice to sit and the rooms are great, the hotel grounds are pleasing to the eye, as is the location itself, the beaches are clean, there are few people, it's the best place to walk and chill, the prices are reasonable

It's very good. It's very close to the sea when I go out. I'll stay here next time. This time it's only for one night. It's a pity.

It was well cleaned every day by Jinendra who also left an amusing 'towel animal' for me daily! Breakfast in the Palms Restaurant was superb, plenty of choice and the staff couldn't do enough for you

The swimming pool was easily accessible (graduated steps) and the water wonderfully warm. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger after breakfast although many are obviously reserved early

The property and rooms are slightly old and they are revamping the place slowly which maybe an issue if your room is closer to the renovation area but our room was at a distance so we did not face any inconvenience

The extensive beach is lovely for walks. There are sun loungers in the shaded area in the trees but these have to be paid for. The hotel offers a number of daytime activities and there is evening entertainment

We ventured outside the hotel for an evening meal on a few occasions (across the railway line) but found the standard to be mediocre and not that cheap compared with what was available at the hotel

In the hotel everything was perfect: attentive service, tasty food, pools, entertainment, gift shops and stores, rooms are spacious.

The buffet was often overcrowded and there was limited choice, but the freshly made food was always delicious. Some drinks were not available. The pool was lovely and the staff were very attentive

The hotel staff were delightful. They were very accommodating of us travelling with toddlers. They even let us order food from a different restaurant within the hotel and served it in another restaurant

The beach can be accessed directly and can observe breath-taking sunsets from the main pool and the lobby

The breakfast and dinner buffet is very good. I asked for masala tea and their indian chef Balbeer Singh made it to perfection. The rooms are spacious and clean. We are taken care of very well by Jayaru and Nelka

The hotel is quite far to go, so it is recommended to eat directly in the hotel or buy things to bring in before entering the hotel, otherwise it will take at least half an hour to go out and back

The hotel is located by the lake and has preserved the original plants and stones. It is a very unique building and worth staying in. The breakfast is also very rich

I’ve done Ayurveda treatments several times in Kerala, and spent a lot of time thinking about which I prefer, because they’re both great, but I think that this place comes out on top

The pool was good and well maintained. The room as well as the food were OK. But the biggest disappointment was that there was no wifi in the rooms and it was available only in the lobby

We were lucky to meet Dharahan, a very friendly and helpful bar attendant who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure we enjoyed every moment. The food was amazing and the accommodation was excellent

Cons: lack of towels by the pool, we waited 20 minutes for them to be brought to us; when leaving the hotel we were presented with a bill from the bar, from which we had not ordered anything, it took about 40 minutes to sort it out, which was not very pleasant

The hotel is located on the Bentota coastline in Sri Lanka. The balcony offers ocean views, and the fine sandy beach is perfect for swimming and strolling

Very beautiful, right on a long clean and pretty strip of beach. Two pools and a spa on location. Hearty and extensive breakfast buffet choices. One pool had too much chlorine, but not much else to complain about

Changing the five hotels for a week I can safely recommend Temple Tree. Large and clean rooms, nice staff, lovely European kitchen. Great pool and nice beach with free sunbeds

Building is old styled but broadly clean, especially lobby and pool side. Buffet area is not very hygienic, we could see insects and ants in fruits and desert section. Direct access to the beach is a big plus point

Staff is very courteous and helpful. However, certain essentials were not in the room and had to be asked for. Even blankets had to be requested for. No welcome drink is offered but there were hot face napkins

Went here last-minute as the other hotel was overbooked and I was surprised how nice it was. Russian tourist mainly but no problem. They also just want to have a good sunny holiday

A good hotel on the ocean shore, with excellent colonial style design, the service staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, but there are many questions about cleanliness, do they wipe the dust in the rooms at all or not? The textiles need to be completely changed

Restaurant located with beachside view and ambitious. Really enjoy the foods with beach view seafoods are also good. Beach is with sunbeds you can enjoy your holiday with a drink in a nice location

We loved the access to the beach and the excellent service provided by Sumutu who looked after us every day. The pool was good for swimming and it was easy to get a tuktuk to other places

The pool was amazing! The only negative was we were unable to swim on the beach due to rough seas and rocks but we visited another beach that was recommended by a member of staff Dulan at the hotel, who gave us fantastic service during our stay! Visit with my family and stayed there for one night. location is separate from the busy roads, guarantee you calm environment and has very clean beach. All basic Amenities were there. staff promptly attend to your needs

There were some BBQ dish at the dinner, and when we arrive, it was finished. they didn't refill it and some guests also missed it. I asked about it with the restaurant manager and he apologies for it

They didn't had any ice cream in the dessert corner, and usually restaurants, they always offer ice cream for the dessert. But the manager was kind enough for offer me and my kids some ice creams

well, that was refreshing that time (it was a hot night). The pool was very nice, me and my kids had a great time in there. had a great time at beach too. We had a great time and would I visit it again? well yes

We are especially grateful to the kitchen staff, who ensured we had our preferred poolside seating. The chef personally checked on the guests to make sure everyone was satisfied, which was a lovely touch

Excellent hotel. We are resting here now. We like everything. The only thing is that the location is a bit weak. Those without a bike or transport need to go to the cities with shops.

The location is great -a beautiful, quiet beach with plenty to do nearby. A short tuk tuk takes you to a huge gold Budda statue and temple. A 15 minute walk takes you to the Indurawa turtle sanctuary which was fabulous

Nice place to stay as much close to the ocean as possible. The beach is perfect. The staff is young and you can't expect perfect service from them, which must be typical for same price hotels.
