Sapphire Seas Beachfront Hotel in Hikkaduwa

It was a super time..great, big room, ocean view. Very friendly chief and a perfect cook - Sonil. Incredibly delicious food: kottu, curry, burgers, juices, drinks. Wow! I'd like to come back there. I recomend it from the deep of my heart ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful beach... wonderful

This hotel is set on pristine beach area . We had beach to ourselves mainly and other guests . We visited for nine nights . The staff are so kind and accommodating nothing is to much trouble . The food was tasty and drinks fruit juices . Super market is near also and main town 3 k up the road . I would recommend this resort as in a quieter area so no loud noise at night . Right on ocean . Massage spa is great helped me de stress .

Had a wonderful stay at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon. The food was awesome @ Chef Dushmantha! Overwhelmed with the spread! Loads of variety. Thanks to Ms. Renuka for being a wonderful host and checking on our stay. Special mention on following up on the complementary cake and giving it on our departure! Also to Ms. Sanjana for coordinating the hotel stay. Highly recommended to visit with family and friends!

We stayed 5 nights in the ground floor corner sea view room which was not long enough. The staff were great, the room was a good size with 4 poster bed seating area and TV, they have is a great swimming pool and the beach is picture postcard. It is a little a couple of Kilometre's from the main area with bars, restaurants and shops but only £1 in a Tuk-Tuk and there is a large supermarket just 100 metres away. Would happily go back

I have been traveling to Sri Lanka since 2012 and stayed at many different hotels, mostly in the neighbourhood of Dodanduwa and Hikkaduwa . I can truly say that Sapphire Seas is my all time favourite! A small and cosy hotel right on the quiet beach of Dodanduwa. Hikkaduwa only a 10 min tuktuk ride away. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and well equipped (TV, AC and ceiling fan, fridge, safe, spacious balcony and splendid bathroom with rain shower). Wifi is excellent all of over the property. Breakfast is a treat, as well as the other meals. Every room has a view on the beach and the Indian Ocean. At night it is the ideal place to watch the fabulous sunsets! Staff are very helpful and always smiling. Thank you Shelton and your team for the good service. And special thanks to Mrs Jeanette, the owner/manager, both you and your staff made my stay unforgettable! Hoping to seeing you all next year!
