A brilliant experience, we stayed in the treehouse pictured and everything has been thought of, great shower, mosquito nets, plenty of sockets (3 pin UK style) mini fridge in the treehouse, lockable cupboard to keep your snacks away from visiting monkeys. 2 types of langurs and slender loris can be seen in the jungle around the hotel. The restaurant choices for dinner are limited and there aren't too many other places to eat out but we found a vegetarian option for 2 nights. Breakfast was good. Loved laying in bed listening to the sounds of the birds and monkeys around us. Really friendly and helpful owner and staff.

Eranda, the manager went with us on safari and learned us so much about the animals. We are very grateful. Food was great!

Exceptional place top stay, very knowledgeable naturalist staff, great Loris watch and bike hire for nearby attractions. We had the tree house, it was great to wake up to the sound of the jungle. Good tuk tuk provision with honest rates.

This one of the hilltops with an amazing view specially if u climbed in the dawn . The journey is very easy as there are steps excepts in the last bit of the journey .
So if you start climbing around 4 30 a.m you could reach to the top before the dawn and enjoy the amazing view of the dawn .

This is a most wonderful place to stay - as a family staying together in the tree house was magical. It is in a fantastic location for many sites. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. And we would highly recommend the loris walk - it is a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for all making our trip to Sri Lanka so special.

Magical treehouse jungle stay! Amazing to listen to the birds, rain and nature as you go to sleep and wake up. A real nature retreat, outside treehouse. Clean (of course some bugs as it’s outside, but not many), friendly staff and loads to do! An amazing experience to stay here. All you could need for a basic outdoorsy stay, shower/bathroom, bedroom etc. (no fancy bits eg hair dryer, but that’s not why we booked) a real Eco / nature experience! Loads to do in the are, walks/views, safari, bird watching, temples etc. Breakfast there’s tea/coffee, fresh fruit, toast and eggs and for lunch/dinner lovely vegetarian restaurant 2min walk next door (we went 3 times!) Overall worth a visit for the experience which we throughly enjoyed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We joined the night walk to observe lorises, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide - Thusitha - was very knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating insights about these wonderful animals and their behavior. I really appreciated how respectful the tour was — using red lights and keeping a safe distance so the lorises are not disturbed. It’s also amazing that the proceeds from the tours support the protection of their natural habitat. A truly special and meaningful experience — highly recommended!

The accommodations and food were expensive for what you got. Beds were old. It’s understandable that open air treehouses in the jungle cannot be spotless, but hotel management could still do a better job.

Daniele and me stayed for 2 night in Back of Beyond Jungle in the Tree House. This is a particular accomodation because u have just a rooftop without walls around; this make you able to have a very immersive experience in the nature. Food was very nice all made at the moment offering nice Sri Lankan food option too. As wildlife photographer we arranged 2 private nocturnal safari in the in the surrounding countryside and forests of Sigiriya. We have to say thank you to our guides Induwara, Ananda and Janaka that accompained us during an immersive 5 hours of night safari from 9 pm to 2 am (we booked a private safari as wildlife photographer, but the arrange also daily group safari for hotel guests). During this experience we could spot also the elusive grey slander Loris and the rare Fishing cat. Thank you Induwara, Ananda and Janaka you give us the chance to have great pictures of notcturnal wildlife in Sigiriya.
