This was an odd experience. The rooms/challets are lovely and you feel like you are right in the jungle. The plants are lush. Sound carries so you will think you are outside all night, which is fine if you are ok with noisy crickets. Water bottles in the room looked dirty. This is a lovely family run hotel. Our hosts couldn't do enough, room was clean, comfortable and spacious. A short walk to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress world heritage site, we also used tuktuks to travel to Dambulla and Sigiriya village which the hotel organised for us, it was very cheap and easy to get around and visit the local area. Lovely location with excellent comfortable and well equipped rooms set close to a very attractive pool. It’s down a track off the main road which gives east walking access (15 mins) to Lion Rock. We were staying in the treehouse for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The treehouse was very comfortable and had a nice view over the nature. There are a lot of cool activities in the area which can be reached by car or tuktuk that will be organized by Sumith. Sumith and his team are incredibly friendly and fulfilled all of our wishes!

Great location as everywhere is walkable if you don’t want to get a Tuk Tuk. View of Lion’s Rock from our room and restaurant was amazing. Pool was a welcome respite from the heat, although the sunbeds are a little uncomfortable (just wooden). Food in the restaurant was great quality and staff were all very friendly.

Wow more than 1300 steps to run partly bad. A lot of people on the way. But the reward is worth it and lets you forget all the hardships.

A private home high up among the trees…The premise is peaceful with generous space for each unit. So you are not disturbed by other guests. The room is very clean and airy, open to the trees. A nice, clean and well maintained place located in Sigiriya, not very far from the Sigiriya rock fortress. So it is a perfect place to spend your night if you want to visit there the next day. It was our best decision to stay in this hotel one of the best of our two weeks trip around Sri Lanka. The nature around the swimming pool view is insane. Nice houses and the most surprising perfect dinner buffet just for 15$. Breakfast was good as well. Spa is good too but they not inform the oil is quite aggressive paint so it made my white skirt and shirt yellow (still can’t wash)

Firstly, as a solo traveller the prices are quite steep per room per night!! But hence everything else is far after visiting the Lion try I gave it a try. The location is remote. The only advantage is that you can walk to Lion Rock. There are no places to eat nearby. It's in a village, so the decor is simple, the hygiene is so-so, and there are a lot of small black bugs in the house. The breakfast is okay.

Stayed one night with family of 25 people. Worth for money. We customize our meals. They offer what we want. Foods are very tasty and fresh. They know how to treat their visitors. Their hospitality is very good. Scenaries are great. Highly recommended for people who look a place to relax.

You have to like the outdoors because otherwise sharing your room with spiders, cockroaches & mice may not be something you'd want to do! That said, sleeping in a treehouse is unique and the hosts were very nice.

It's a very beautiful place but a get together after 10pm is best avoided as requested by the hotel management due to noise issues.

Great location for visiting archaeological sites. The only thing, being right in the countryside, if you have children, it is more convenient to use the Tuk-tuk. In return the place is lovely, the food they cook is exquisite and authentic. In case of need, they keep your luggage at no extra cost even after check-out (e.g. go and see a site before leaving without necessarily having to sleep on site...
