Elephas Resort & Spa in Sigiriya

We stayed one night at Elephas Resort & Spa and it was an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive from check-in to check-out. The rooms were spotless, well organized, and very comfortable. The facilities were great and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely visit again.

The most beautiful hotel, the most beautiful rural setting and yes elephants come right up to the fence. Good food, lovely bar areas, one above the dinning room and one within. Again the staff couldn't do enough. A great laundry service. I would have liked to seen more curry options in the evening. Us Europeans have a varied palette, we don't have to eat bland food. The bar man was delightful and eager to please.

After a long drive, we took a dip in the pool and had a massage, which was a delight.

We stayed here for 3 days (2 nights). Actually we planned to go there in January this year, but could not make it due to the Ditwah cyclone that happened in December 2025. he rooms were reasonably good, with reliable Wi-Fi and a clean environment, although the floor tiles were slightly dark. The beds were comfortable, and the air-conditioning system worked well. The hotel is situated near a tank teeming with freshwater birds. Many birds can also be spotted within the hotel premises, making it an excellent choice for wildlife enthusiasts like us. Entertainment: The hotel arranged a village tour that included a boat ride on Hiriwaduna Tank. It was a wonderful experience, and we truly enjoyed it. Food: The food was satisfactory, with a reasonable variety offered in the buffet. However, the set-menu lunch served on the first day was not particularly impressive. Staff: courteous and friendly, though they took nearly 30 minutes to arrange our room. Swimming pool. Clean and not deep. You can nice view of the surrounding paddy fields and the bund of the Tank. Peafowls do come here to sip the water. Our rating 75-80% Can we recommend this place? YES.

The hotel went above my expectations. The rooms were so comfortable and spacious. The staff were lovely and friendly. On arrival I found a pair of brand new white shorts had 2 big blue ink marks on. I noticed they did laundry service so thought I had nothing to lose so asked if they could try and get the ink out. I was so pleased when they came back as good as new. All this cost was 200 rupees which is equivalent to roughly 50p. The only negative for me was the food, whilst I didnt starve I struggled with the buffet. I would have preferred an A Carte menu.

Visited Elephas Resort & Spa with my clients. The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good food, and relaxing views. Guests really enjoyed the stay. A perfect place to relax and enjoy .I recommend to everyone

A hotel with just a swimming pool in the yard dares to call itself a spa hotel? It's a two-story villa with four rooms on all sides. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, offering a taste of pastoral and natural scenery. Overall, it's alright.
