Ayugiri sigiria was an amazing experience. It was really one of a kind and the location was stunning indeed it was really a paradise. The view was breathtaking. And all the treatments we had was one of the best experiences we've ever had the room we were staying in was really clean, tidy and very spacious too. They even took us to see the wild . The yoga treatment was very relaxing. And the food was pleasingly appetising and also delicious. And also I could not forget about the management staff and specially the two doctors helped us very much .and also a big thanks Tanisha who is in the front office and took care of us though the entire holiday it was indeed a tremendous help . I highly recommend this place for your holiday trip with you and your family or as your calming business place.

I recently stayed at Ayugiri Wellness Resort in Sigiriya and I truly had a wonderful experience. From the day I arrived, I felt calm and relaxed. The resort is surrounded by nature, trees and fresh air. It is very quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for anyone who wants to take a break from busy life.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. They always smiled and spoke politely. If I needed anything, they were happy to help. Their friendly service made my stay even more comfortable.

Yoga Experience

The yoga sessions were my favorite part of the stay. The yoga area is open and beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Doing yoga while hearing birds and feeling the natural breeze was very special. The instructors were patient and clear when explaining the poses. They helped everyone according to their level, so even beginners can feel comfortable. After each session, I felt relaxed, fresh, and peaceful in my mind.

Room

My villa was very clean and spacious. The design was simple but elegant. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I loved waking up and seeing the green views outside. It felt very private and calm.

Food and Restaurant

The restaurant experience was also very good. The dining area is peaceful and nicely arranged. Eating in such a quiet and natural environment made every meal enjoyable.

The food was fresh and healthy. You can feel that the ingredients are good quality and carefully chosen. Breakfast had fresh fruits, herbal drinks, and light but filling dishes. Lunch and dinner had healthy meals with nice flavors. The Sri Lankan dishes were especially tasty, but still not too heavy.

I also enjoyed the drinks very much. The fresh juices and herbal teas were refreshing and perfect for the wellness atmosphere. Everything felt clean, natural, and good for the body. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to suggest something or explain the menu.

Cultural Show

During my stay, there was also a cultural show in the evening, which made the experience even more special. The traditional Sri Lankan dance performances were beautiful and energetic. The costumes were colorful and the drum performances were powerful and exciting to watch. It was a great way to experience the local culture while staying at the resort. I really enjoyed that night it added something unique and memorable to my stay.

Treatments

I tried the Ayurvedic treatments and they were very relaxing. The therapists were professional and made sure I was comfortable. After the treatment, I felt lighter and less stressed.

We had a wonderful stay at Ayugiri Ayurveda Resort. From the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel warmly welcomed. The manager, reception staff, restaurant team, security, and maintenance staff were all extremely friendly, professional, and attentive.

We had an amazing stay at Ayugiri — truly one of the highlights of our trip.

The hotel itself is spectacular, and our room was absolutely beautiful. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and perfectly integrated into the surrounding nature. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and fresh flavors each morning.

The spa treatments were incredibly relaxing and definitely one of the standout experiences of our stay. Highly recommended if you’re visiting.

We were given the furthest room (MJ), which offered exceptional privacy. It was such a unique experience to watch monkeys playing in the trees and even see a herd of cattle walking through the small river just about 20 meters from our room! We also had our own private plunge pool and patio, which made it the perfect place to unwind and fully disconnect.

The staff were super friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed.

One thing to note: the hotel is located a bit outside Sigiriya village and the main attractions — definitely not within walking distance. However, for us, that was actually a big plus. No traffic noise, just pure nature, peace, and relaxation.

Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil and unique stay near Sigiriya.

Great place and very friendly staff. Defebitly the best hotel we have been in Sri Lanka over the last 10 days. However, the way to arrive to the pool is far and poorly lightened. My girlfriend fell from a 1.5m bridge and could have gotten seriously hurt...you should light up more the passage to the pool.
