I did a 3-week Panchakarma at Siddhalepa. There were positives and negatives. I had a balcony room which was comfortable and had both air-con and a ceiling fan. There was some mould on the curtains, but it was no trouble for the cleaners to replace them with clean ones. Due to the humid climate, mould is an issue there. What was extremely challenging for me was that the chefs had no idea how to cater for vegetarians. For the first four days after repeatedly reminding them that I was vegetarian, I was served meals with either chicken or fish, including breakfast, which I had to turn down. When the chefs finally served me vegetarian food, the pulses such as chickpeas, lentils etc had clearly not been soaked beforehand and were so undercooked as to be inedible. The chefs really had no idea how to cater for vegetarians in terms of protein, which amazed me. I had to instruct them, but as the main chef changed almost daily, it was an ongoing process. By the second week I was craving protein and ended up going to a local supermarket to buy some protein foods. Another vegetarian woman who was a return guest had brought her own protein powder for the week she was there. If you eat meat, then you will probably find the meals very satisfying. The other disappointing thing was the use of some very toxic smelling chemicals in the bedrooms and grounds. The pest control guys offered to spray my room while I was there and I declined. However, the stair-well was sprayed and it was impossible to avoid the toxic smell for a few days. The grounds were sprayed with a toxic mist for mosquitos and **** sprays were used while I was there too. The manager told me that they have found that more natural solutions don’t work. On the positive side, the treatments were excellent. The doctors were very knowledgeable and caring. You have the same treatment therapist for the length of your stay, apart from when they have a day off. I really liked this set up, and only one massage therapist works on you at a time versus two massage therapists. The treatments are varied, made according to your individual needs and are not rushed. The staff were all lovely. Also, they have a recycling system through the council so some plastics and bottles can be recycled.

Very friendly staff. Waiter Chami was exceptional. Always friendly and super attentive. Also therapist Lakmini was very professional with a very good heart.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. I stayed in SIDDHALEPA for 9 nights. It is perfect for relaxing, weight loss, stress reduction, health healing and experience authentic Ayurveda. I like very much amazing animals: monkeys, squirrels, lizard, cat fishes, many birds which lives on a hotel territory and make the atmosphere very natural. Also I like the design from natural materials. All treatment and yoga were very professional. The food healthy and tasty. Hotel staff very friendly and kind. It was the great experience ☺️.

There was everything I wanted. Quiet, peace, relaxation, professional Ayurvedic touch, healthy food, above all the beach. This hotel was a home away from home. I felt safe there as a solo traveler. Right within my budget. Thank you. Will definitely come back.

The treatments are customised and well-planned. The food and the service are excellent. The sound of the waves and the sunset enhance the overall experience.

It's a magical place. The various tree species that populate the garden share their peace. Here, everyone is attentive. The numerous Ayurvedic treatments helped me to hear the silence, and I discovered a kingdom. And if you're lucky, a pair of peacocks will come to wish you "Welcome back." It was my first time in an Ayurvedic resort. I stayed 1 week and it was a very relaxing and good experience.
My Ayurvedic doctor, the therapist and all other staff were very proffesional it was a great experience for me and I also met with some other nice people.

Since arrival we were impressed and felt like home with the warmth welcome. We loved every corner and every detail from the resort, from the beautiful room to the pool, the ocean breeze while dining a the restaurant, the gardens, the food and of course the amazing health center. All the team is very kind and made sure that we had a beautiful time during our stay, the Doctors and all the staff at the healing center are very professional and take care of every detail of the treatments. An extraordinary experience, relaxing, healing and spiritual. You will be in good hands and the facilities are very well maintained. A place to disconnect and reconnect, we loved the yoga lessons, the quiet gardens to enjoy our reading and beach walks. Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary!
