This was the dumbest situation I ever experienced, I arrived at the hotel at the early evening when there was a rain storm, then we found out the hotel is always closed down for 3 months ago already, then we had to search for another accommodation at these tough conditions (storm, darkness full luggaged) to stay for the overnight till where we can stay for the next 9 days!!!

This hotel reception lady is completely rude and racist.

Me and my friend came to this hotel for a wedding and we was sitting in the lobby area. Then a foreign couple came with a tour guide and sat where we was sitting. Then that lady came into us and told us to move away from there. Why? And why? Just because we are locals? We were guest as well.just because we got brown skin? Completely insane. I have been in many hotels before but and i have never face this kind situation before and it was totally embarrassing for us.

The hotel was completely empty — I was the only guest there. I lived with one cockroach in my room for four days. I killed it a few times, but it kept coming back like it had a twin! The internet stopped working after just one day. I’ve stayed in more than 200 hotels, but this one will definitely be memorable for all the wrong reasons.

I don't know who writes anything good about this place.... the photo is old, the buffet is not in the banquet hall, but on the first floor... for a week the menu was the same (omelette, paper sausages, fried tomatoes, chopped carrots and cabbage like for cattle, cucumbers - tomatoes with flies, pasta with vegetables, rubber mushrooms... once there was a pie with something scary, once there was not even an omelette, sliced ​​papaya, pineapple, bread and butter... that's all )))) by the way about bread and little, if suddenly you take a lunch box... there will be a sandwich of bread and butter and juice for a high pleasure))) They never cleaned the room, I put the garbage outside the door to somehow get rid of it, the towels were not changed either... for two they gave us a micro room with a one-and-a-half bed, we went to change the room - they gave a little more, butoooo the air conditioner was leaking and our room was flooded until they put a bucket in, by the way, in the gnome room 9 that they gave us at first) there was a TV under the ceiling and a kettle, but in the bigger room there was none of that ))) The staff only cleans on the first floor, they smile sweetly waving the brush back and forth and that's it... The terrible stench of the carpets, especially in the elevator, doesn't let me forget about this place ))) There is only one key to the room, so it must always be returned, and so when we returned one time around 12 at night we spent a long time looking for those who would return our key to us (after going around with a flashlight, the security guard called one, he called back, then we went for a third and in the end the key was returned an hour later in the lobby without air conditioning and light). The guys at the hotel are very economical, there is no light on the stairs, go look for where to turn it on so as not to kill yourself or not to step on huge cockroaches (which we have met more than once on the fragrant carpets), the air conditioner at breakfast and in the lobby turns on in your presence only if they clearly see that you are suffocating from the stuffiness))) In general, I am happy that I was on an excursion for two days in an awesome hotel with comfort and was distracted from this horror.... The location of the hotel is really cool, but everything else is just hell.... just to spend the night... the hotel needs a normal manager - then it will be a treat.... and now... it's like I came to an abandoned hotel and checked in... and the photos only show views of the sea... why don't they post a view of the city, I wonder?)))) On the back side of the room with a balcony 50 cm wide, overlooking a construction site and garbage incineration... I myself chose the hotel based on the photo... but these are really old photos... expectations and reality did not match at all... oh yeah, there is no refrigerator either in the room, and there are no bedside tables and only 2 hangers))) and sitting on the toilet it is convenient to rest either your knees or your forehead against the wall))) And yes, there is a plus... the bed, it is really big and comfortable)

Pros: Location. It was very convenient for us to get to the surf school, fish cafes and shops. Very beautiful view from the window of the ocean. Balcony. The staff is friendly. Cons: Cardboard partitions, plastic doors. If you are lucky with your neighbors, then this will not be a problem for you. We were not very lucky, for some reason some people think it is normal to make noise and listen to music at night, thinking only about themselves. Plus it turned out that everyone around us smoked in the rooms, and we are non-smokers and smoke passes through the plastic doors normally. We tried to solve the problem with the manager so that they would move us to another floor, without hanging out with non-smoking rooms, the answer was one: Sorry, all rooms are occupied. And that's it) Nobody talked to anyone. Quite noisy from the road, which is right under the windows, plus the air conditioning units on the balconies work loudly, if you are a light sleeper, be sure to take earplugs (in this case they helped, unlike the neighbors). Breakfasts are monotonous, but you can eat well. We were very surprised by the takeaway breakfast that we were given when leaving the hotel (one piece of toast with jam, one egg, candy and juice). I would never go to this hotel again, because we stayed overnight in other guest houses on the island and we saw how clean and comfortable a holiday in Sri Lanka can be.

This is a disgusting place!!! I warn you, don't take it!!! I've been crying for two days looking at everything around me! I haven't noticed a single plus yet! Although I'm an extremely positive person! None of the staff does anything and doesn't try to help! Of all the words, only swear words remain, it's a pity they don't understand them
