Amazing place! We will definitely be back. If you like privacy, silence, sleep to the sound of the ocean - this hotel is for you! This is not about luxury in the room, but the necessary conditions for a comfortable stay are there. Cleaning every 2 days, special thanks for the quality. The biggest value of the hotel is, of course, the beach, which is something you won’t find anywhere else. Restaurants are nearby, if you leave the hotel and go left, there are quite a lot of them for any budget. It’s an absolutely safe place for two girls; we met only good people. Thank you very much for such wonderful memories!

A good guesthouse with super friendly and thoughtful hosts. Some other places here might be more luxurious, but for sure also more expensive and often more ' pushing ' their food and services. The distance to the beach is actually ok. There are very pfew places here straight on the beach, making it different then Tangalle for example.
Locals come here every day to party and chill themselves! So that says a lot.

Great guestahouse for cheap price. Sunil, the owner is very friendly and willing to help. Room was clean and bathroom big in comaprison to other I saw on Sri Lanka.

Really nice newly built guest house with antique theme. 2min walk to Polhena beach. Only offer BB. Breakfast meal is okay. Nice rooms luxury bathroom. Elevator is also there. No more staff,only two calm guys handle the all operation. Recommended for all. Sea view double room has mini bar, safe box, both AC and fans, mosquito nets, etc. Luxury bed setup and really attractive place.

An all-in-one. Loved the atmosphere here. Went there to have dinner at the top floor restaurant. Food was tasty and the staff was very helpful. Colonial themed wall paintings + interior lightings were something extra. Culture Resort is located, facing Polhena beach(also known as one of the safest and scenic beaches in Sri Lanka) . Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Altogether a good experience. Sadly they had only the BB option. Even tho we went in the off-season, the care taker was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are good The only drawback is that the floor is slippery in some places.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay for three nights at Culture. The breakfast was impeccable and the service was amazing! During the crisis, they ensured that we had a comfortable stay and even powered on the generators for emergencies. We were given free bikes to go to town and all! In short, I highly recommend culture resort for a stay if u pop in to Matara! Bonus doggy pics attached ❤️😂

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Place is really good and clean. The room was actually pretty good considering the cleanliness, theming and sanitation. Has a good view of the sea horizon. Breakfast was really good and the attending staff was really helpful. I would definitely recommend this for another one.
