Rooms are clean and spacious. Has a very nice view of the ocean. The staff is very helpful and friendly too.
Located near the end of the highway. So it was very easy to find the place. Lots of popular places were located near the hotel. So it was really easy to commute.

We stayed at this and really enjoyed our experience. The sea view room we booked had an absolutely stunning view, and the room itself was very comfortable with exceptional facilities. The prices were quite reasonable for the quality offered. The only downside was the lack of room service or an option to buy food within the hotel. Other than that, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay — perfect for a peaceful getaway by the sea.

Disappointing Front Office Experience at Blue Beach Galle We recently stayed at Blue Beach Galle on 15 March 2025, and unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the unprofessional and rude behavior of the front office staff. Upon arrival, I was ignored by a male receptionist, who was on a call and did not even acknowledge my presence. However, the real issue began when the other staff by the name of Sewwandi, another receptionist, rudely insisted that I make an additional payment, despite my prior payment being fully settled through the booking portal. Instead of properly verifying the system, she publicly demanded payment in front of other guests, causing unnecessary embarrassment. Throughout the interaction, she showed no courtesy, not even offering a basic greeting or a smile, making the check-in experience extremely unpleasant. Thankfully, a staff member named Avantha stepped in, identified the mistake, and confirmed that my payment was indeed recorded in the system. Had it not been for him, the situation would have escalated further. I strongly urge the management to review their CCTV footage from 2:20 PM onwards to witness this unacceptable service firsthand. On a positive note, Anuj from the restaurant team was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic dining experience. The entire restaurant team on 16th March 2025, was warm, welcoming, and served delicious food. Employees like Anuj are a true asset to the hotel and deserve recognition. Unfortunately, despite the great service from the restaurant team, our overall impression of the hotel was ruined by the front office staff’s lack of professionalism. I must say good average hotel with bad front office staff..

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Blue Beach Galle over the weekend. Everything about this hotel was perfect, from the stunning location to the exceptional service. The location is breathtaking, right by the beach, offering beautiful ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s the ideal place to relax and unwind, with easy access to Galle’s attractions while still feeling like a private getaway. The accommodation was fantastic—clean, spacious, and well-maintained with comfortable beds and modern amenities. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the refreshing sea breeze was an unforgettable experience. The food was simply outstanding! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was local Sri Lankan dishes or international options, everything was prepared to perfection. Dining with an ocean view just made it even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the entire experience. Overall, Blue Beach Galle exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a perfect beachside escape with amazing food, top-notch service, and a stunning location, this is the place to be. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Galle!

Me and my partner had an excellent stay at Blue Beach Galle. The staff are super friendly and accommodating making sure we had a perfect stay. It is in a great location easy to get to Galle Fort or Unawatuna more or less in the middle of both. Comfy beds and pillows too which is a must! Shabaka the front manager was very friendly and even booked a taxi for us to go to the airport. Thank you for a great stay.

I experienced warmth and excellent service from the team. Of special note was Mr.Awantha who was extremely helpful and ensured that our stay was comfortable. He was receptive to all our needs and requirements and ensured that these were fulfilled.

I had a wonderful stay at Blue Beach Galle, thanks to the fantastic reception team, especially Shanaka and Praveen. Both were incredibly welcoming from the start, offering helpful tips and ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout my stay. Their friendly, professional service made all the difference. The hotel is beautiful, but it’s the outstanding staff that sets it apart. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

My experience with this hotel has been truly amazing! Whether it's from Food to Room (and as a foreigner we luckily got a room with beach view), it was really very good. The service is excellent and the staff was really polite, calm and friendly. This is a must recommended hotel for everyone who is willing to come and stay in Galle.

Bad service, unprofessional. Asked them to make up my room one day and they just ignored the request, gave new towels and then didnt do the room. They had questioned me if I have paid for my room even when I have done a pre-payment 5 days before arriving. Keeps making excuse that finance team is not working.
