Neptune Story Hotel in Weligama

Liars & cheaters. Hotel staff started to physically and verbally threaten me after cancelling a taxi back to Colombo 2 hours before the pick up time. No need to say that the driver was from the next village and not from Colombo. Oh should I speak about the bed bugs? And the fact that the rooms were never done?!
Location is great, bungalows are nice but This is not enough

Me and my friends wanted to hang in their pool and of course we were willing to pay as much as it takes. Since we went in the place they wouldn't stop pushing us to order stuff from the menu and keep reminding us the price per hour (who the f*** charges per hour for a pool?!) . We tried talking with them and explaining them that we would like to have drinks and food but on our time since we came in from a late breakfast and then the "nice" and "polite" manager decided she would kick us out and charge us by the hour. Needless to say that we grabbed our stuff and walked away not before we had to pay because, once again, they served us the bill adding some comments and chatting about us. Wouldn't recommend that place to no one.

Be careful you could get a room with no ceiling, this can be problem when power goes out regularly. Very average cheap rooms. Upgrade to bungalow it's well worth it.
