Bellwood Hills Resort & Spa in Kandy

My family and I had been planning a trip for months, and then I stumbled upon Bellwood Hills Resort and Spa while watching some YouTube videos. With work and everything, I only booked one night with full board, and after going there and experiencing the staff's hospitality, the location, food, room, and the whole vibe, I totally regretted only booking it for one day. From the moment we arrived to when we checked out, it was such a great experience and service. I've never had such calming and excellent service, even from really famous hotels. Also, I need to mention the Atmosphere is calming and quiet, and rooms were spacious and very well cleaned and managed. And Bellwood Hills managed to do this even when they were super busy with other guests. I'm definitely going back with my family, and for at least two nights next time! I highly recommend it because my wife and I had a great time and experienced the hospitality, and it was more than we paid for, so great value for your money.Total Tranquility and Five-Star Service at Bellwood Hills

Everything was perfect at Bellwood Hills. The location was heavenly. Being high up in the mountains afforded me the opportunity to de-stress in a tranquil environment with fresh air and beautiful nature. The beds were very comfortable and every inch of the property was clean and well maintained. The rooms were very spacious. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and treated me like royalty. They accommodated my every request. For example I don't normally have breakfast so they allowed me to have a full dining breakfast experience a little after noon. Note: the view from the restaurant is Amazing. It looks over a tea plantation and mountain view. The food and beverage was excellent. Firstly, being in the homeland of Ceylon tea, the cup of tea which greeted me upon arrival and at mealtime did not disappoint. Honestly I could taste the difference in quality and freshness. The chef was able to make dishes per my request even if it were not found on the menu. The traditional Sri Lankan food was top of the notch and very tasty. I was really spoiled to have such fresh, organic and locally-farmed food healthy cuisine. Did I mention there is a gym and lovely ample sized swimming pool? I enjoyed a swim every day. Geeta the Ayurvedic masseuse is very skilled and gave me a wonderful treatment in the spa area which again has a beautiful view. All of the staff were super friendly but I would like to give a special recognition to the assistant managers Harsha and Tariq who made sure everything was perfect for my stay. They are truly gifted in running this exceptional resort and spa. There was also Lakshitha and Nouan who were exceptional lead wait staff in the restaurant and made my dining experiences perfect. There honestly wasn't anything I disliked. The fact that I booked one night and stayed over 5 is a testament to how much I love and recommend this location. Bellwood Hills Resort and Spa truly exceeded my expectations.

A beautiful location, outside of the craziness of Kandy. Stunning views over the hills and valleys, peaceful and tranquil. Welcomed at the door with cold fresh juice, which after a long hot journey was a lovely touch. The staff are kind, super polite and go out of their way to help. The food was fabulous, no need for lunch after the huge breakfast! The hot tub and roof top pool were welcome relief after a full day of walking. The hotel.is not far from the start of the Picoe trail. This is a really well maintained and marked trail, taking you into the hills and tea plantations.
