Meili Lanka City Hotel in Kandy

I recently visited to Meili Lanka City Hotel situated in Kandy. This hotel situated in Kandy city, just about 1 kilometer away from Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple. This hotel is a small place. The host was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel situated in a one part of a building. There are only 5 rooms available here, I pre booked my room about a week before because it’s December. The room was very clean and tidy. I booked a room on the top floor which is on the 5th floor. The only thing is here there’s no LIFT ( elevator) . Only stairs available to go up. I didn’t mind that so it’s was not a big issue for me.

This hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but there are plenty places nearby you could get food. The room was very nice. Very worth for the price. I really enjoyed my stay here. 😍 If you’re looking for a budget place to stay when you visit Kandy, this is the one of them. I highly recommend MEILI Lanka City Hotel to anyone.👍✨

This hotel offered a delightful surprise! The rooms were incredibly cozy and inviting, all at a very affordable price. The beds were clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The washrooms were spotless as well. There's just one caveat to consider: if you book a room on an upper floor, be prepared to climb! The hotel doesn't seem to have an elevator, so reaching your room might involve a bit of a climb. However, if you can manage the stairs, the payoff is a fantastic room with almost all the amenities you could ask for, including air conditioning, a TV, and a wardrobe. For budget-conscious travelers seeking a cozy retreat, this hotel is definitely worth considering, just be prepared for a potential stair workout!

This place is great for your visit to Kandy. One of the nicest and most clean rooms we have had in Sri Lanka. Location is great, near town but away from the noise. ( It's on a busy street but the rooms are so quiet and private).

The receptionist was fast and easy to talk to. AC is great, the bathroom doesn't smell at all which is a rare thing in tropical weather countries. Big room as well, comfy beds, has a kettle, coffee, hot shower.

The only thing is that if you struggle with stairs you might need something closer to the ground level, otherwise I would recommend it 100% also the price is far better than most in town. We loved it so much we decided to extend and extra night to rest from our long travels.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Kandy city, this hidden sanctuary gave us access to all the top locations of our visit to Kandy. Even though it's located in the centre of the city you cannot hear its hustle and bustle once you are inside. The rooms are really clean and modern. Our stay was really comfortable and we were really glad to have found this place. Highly recommend.

Great hotel with best location. All tourist attractions are nearby. Close to restaurants, shopping area and bus stop. Clean and big room and bath with good price.

The room was for that cheap price definitly very good. The bathroom was really clean. There was a spot on the blanket, but we get after we asked instantly a new one. The service was the best at all the hotels we have stayed in Sri Lanka!
