This hotel is amazing! Had really friend staff and who helped us and gave us tips to walk around Kandy without being scammed :) Steven was just an amazing host who helped us throughout the days and facilitated the communication with the local people. The view of the hotel is amazing :) also really nice hot shower. Definitely book it here :)

I confidenty recommend this hotel to anyone. We had rooms with a small, though perfectly adequate balcony from whic we had an excellent view over the bustling town below and of the distant Knuckles mountains. The rooms had TV, safe, mini fridge plenty of storage space, air con and fan, and an excellent bathroom (great shower with large shower head). Beautifully decorated and very clean. The owner is charming and speaks good English. The young man on Reception (who also does duty in the Restaurant) was courteous, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was also good. Excellent breakfast comprising a mix of Western and local. We stayed 4 nights instead of the planned one as we both fell in love with Kandy and the hotel. The city had everything we wanted/needed. We also took a day trip to Kaudulla National Park for a jeep safari to see wild elephants and were very lucky to see well over 100). Spectacular sunset on the way back.

We were walking around the Arthurs Seat looking for a place that had a beer with a view. We stumbled across Blinkbonnie and it was exactly what we were looking for. Great food with good prices, cold beer and the best view in Kandy from the balcony!

My husband and I had a great two-night stay here. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and provided us with helpful advice; he did not try to encourage us to hire guides and drivers that we didn't need, and made recommendations that allowed us to maximize our time in Kandy. The hotel has a nice view of Kandy and the lake, but is a bit of a walk from the heart of town. Our room was extremely comfortable and well-furnished, and was immaculate. Breakfast here was very generous and tasty. WiFi was strong.

We would absolutely stay again, and even recommended it to other travelers headed to Kandy.
