Had a wonderful stay at The Merchant Galle Fort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained

We visited The Merchant Restaurant in Galle Fort for dinner and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is located in a beautiful colonial building with a garden and a terrace. The staff were very friendly and attentive

If you want to fully experience the magic of Sri Lanka, this hotel is a perfect choice. Its central location, very close to Galle Fort, makes it ideal for exploring while still enjoying a calm and refined setting

Grilled prawn ,olive oil and garlic dipper was the best dish I had. Food was so good and the potion was pretty big. Food is a bit expensive than the other restaurant but it’s a worth of trying

After receiving a welcome drink, we were shown to our room and given a sheet showing the locations of the hotel's facilities. Our room itself was less than 30 seconds walking distance from the sea

Asela took us to our beautiful room with a plunge pool and beautiful garden, and gave us each a foot massage. You can eat all your meals outside on your own terrace if you wish. One day we had breakfast around 2pm

Beautiful pool and so so relaxing. We really wound down after rather a hectic 10 days here seeing some of the wonderful sights Sri Lanka has to offer. We will be back for sure, and next time for longer

He really made our stay extra special! Everything was extremely clean, and quiet as you are fully immersed in nature. The pools were also beautiful, and the food was excellent too

They also offer free yoga in the mornings, cycling, and a tuktuk to the nearby beach. There is also a really nice gym that we used quite a bit

I don’t really know where to start. This has honestly been one of the best hotels we’ve been to. On arrival we were met by Axel the manager and Asela who was our butler assigned to us for our stay

Nothing was too much for Asela or any other member of staff. The people who work here are friendly and warm and kind. I hurt my back and went for a sublime massage which really helped the pain

It was not the season for sea bathing and the sea was very rough but we found a rock-pool close to the hotel that allowed us to enjoy the waves. The service was excellent and the food very tasty

Visit with my family and stayed there for one night. location is separate from the busy roads, guarantee you calm environment and has very clean beach. All basic Amenities were there. staff promptly attend to your needs

Rooms are spacious with a king size bed and lots of space for a roll away bed if needed. Hotel is a beachfront property so you can walk out straight on to the beach. The beach is perfect for a stroll

We stayed as a family of 4 at the Habitat Hotel for 9 days during Christmas. Kosgoda is a wonderful quiet and relaxing place. The hotel was clean, great food and service at the restaurant

Good spread of food for buffet from Continental to Indian to Srilankas. My favourite were egg Hoppers. The reception staff were polite and efficiently looked after all our check-in needs

The villa is perfect for a family holiday to stay in the fort. Nice atmosphere with spacious rooms and common areas. Many private properties in the fort are not big enough and may not be safe for families with kids

To sit outside your cabana with nothing but sand between you and the Indian Ocean takes some beating We have been visiting Sri Lanka since 2004 and without doubt this is by far the best accommodation we have experienced

We just visited to mirage for a short stay just for one night and I feel like this is a hidden beautiful hotel in Colombo. The room I got was a specious room with sea view Reasonable prices and tasty food. Helpful staff.

The room is spacious and you can see the sea directly. Across the road is the internet celebrity car. The only downside is that there is no place to hang clothes.

I stayed at this hotel recently and have mixed feelings. The room was spacious and offered spectacular sea views, which was a big plus. I also enjoyed the two pools, where the water was in perfect condition

One curious detail is that although there are plenty of sunbeds available for guests and a sign prohibiting reserving them with towels or books, it seems that many get up early to secure a sunbed

Hotel was empty, not a lot of visited but it’s also off season. Staff is quite helpful though, but the hotel it’s as high quality as in the photos, seems like it needs to maintenance

The rooms are big and air conditioned with cool tile floors and comfortable beds. These are all based around a courtyard which leads out onto two swimming pools and the beach. Food is a nice if unspectacular buffet

Nice hotel with very cordial staff. Quarantine service was amazing with the delicious food they provide is sufficient for two person in a single meal.

Lovely hotel with an old colonial vibe. Although the we loved the place but it could do with a refurbish in the bathrooms. Lovely pool and gardens with a short walk down to the terrific massive beach

The hotel also has the novelty of the coastal train line running past the end of the garden which was quite fun. The staff were beyond reproach and the food was really good with an enormous breakfast

This was the last of the 4 hotels we did in our 10 day trip. Boutique resort, just 15 rooms and a lovely lawn and a 20 met pool. Outstanding service, good food and just a min walk across the tracks to the bentota beach.

What pleased me was that the entire staff has not changed in a year, all the same faces, one team! This year I will note that the path to the beach is well maintained, leveled every morning, a hotel sign appeared on the beach

This is not our first time here, everything went great last year, and so with the wealth of options on the island we decided not to tempt fate and stay here again (we were welcomed with even greater hospitality than the year before), especially since the price was more than right

I'm not sure it's a 4-star because there isn't enough employees or a strong service attitude, but it's a terrific deal for this area. The pool is great, and there are plenty of water activities to choose from

Recently visited this hotel , basically I booked the Passivilla however the GM has graciously transferred us to Marina beach hotel due to the sandy beach facilities

AC was noisy through the night with a tick tick sound which was annoying. Thus was reported to the staff in the morning. Breakfast choice had to be selected the day before. The eggs Benedict could have been better

We loved our stay at Arcadia resort! The ourdoor area was amazing, with not only one, but two pools, a lot of plants and ideal for relaxing. The room was clean and the bed comfy. The owner and staff were lovely

The location is close (a 7-minute walk) to the train station and bus station. It's a 20-minute walk to Turtle Beach and a 10-minute walk to regular beach

The best villa in all of Sri Lanka!!! We stayed for a couple of nights, but extended it to 5. How wonderful it is here, quiet, swimming pools, animals (you feel like you're at a dacha)

It has a very beautiful and peaceful environment and there is a good staff who provided us with their service very well. The rooms are very clean and we can see a beautiful view of the sea in the evening

The pool is the best place for relaxing. It is sparkling clean but needs maintenance of tiles and pool furniture. Our room had multiple items needing to be fixed or replaced

We get there and the first thing I observe is that they are NOT beach fronted. We open the door to our cabana and a hit blast hit us! Air conditioning took its time to work

By the second week I was craving protein and ended up going to a local supermarket to buy some protein foods. Another vegetarian woman who was a return guest had brought her own protein powder for the week she was there

Very friendly staff. Waiter Chami was exceptional. Always friendly and super attentive. Also therapist Lakmini was very professional with a very good heart.

On the positive side, the treatments were excellent. The doctors were very knowledgeable and caring. You have the same treatment therapist for the length of your stay, apart from when they have a day off

I really liked this set up, and only one massage therapist works on you at a time versus two massage therapists. The treatments are varied, made according to your individual needs and are not rushed

The chefs really had no idea how to cater for vegetarians in terms of protein, which amazed me. I had to instruct them, but as the main chef changed almost daily, it was an ongoing process

The grounds were sprayed with a toxic mist for mosquitos and **** sprays were used while I was there too. The manager told me that they have found that more natural solutions don’t work

There are lots of cats in the property - I love them but if you don’t, you might feel a bit uncomfortable, although they don’t go to the room and only stay in the pool area

There are lots of cute animals in the hotel. The owners are kind and gentle. It's close to the beach, so it's a nice walk

Convenient location, close to the beach and a street with restaurants, shops. We did not like the thin pillows, they brought other ones, thicker, but also latex, without any problems

The hotel itself is excellent, the rooms are spacious, our view of the rock was simply gorgeous in real life, a huge balcony, beach towels were provided upon request
