Is a single complex with the neighbouring Hotels, Koggala hotels, Koggala Beach 3* Club Koggala Village 2*. The Long Beach Resort is the most comfortable of the three hotels, which are located in a single office and located next to the magnificent beach. Recommend for a relaxing budget holiday. For lovers of active recreation and offers a Shuttle service to the centre of water sports and diving. The hotel can also host wedding ceremonies.

Location: in Koggala 133 km from Colombo 165 km from the airport. Airport transfer: approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Consists of two 2-storey buildings.

Guests can choose from 104 rooms.

Beach: public sandy beach in 50 m from the hotel, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds – free of charge. The length of the beach – 1000 m.

From start to finish the experience was poor. The staff is trying but they lack training to handle the job. As we entered, no one came to offer help with the luggage although one person was specifically designated for the job. Only upon requesting help at the reception, he stepped forward. The water in room was lukewarm at the highest setting and flow from the shower head was non existent. I had to SIT under the tap to get cleaned. The bathroom also had a used soap bar with hair - presumably used by the pervious occupant. No tea, coffee or hot water in the room. Some blinds in the room wouldn’t operate. The power outlet in the room had ‘safety feature’ and no matter how much you try to force the adaptor (even thee pin ones), it won’t go in. We had 3 different international adaptors and none worked. I was given two different password for WiFi (the second one missing one digit from the first one). Neither worked and I found it faster to use my personal hot spot. As we entered the dining area on first night, there was a distinct foul smell of garbage. The staff said it was coming from the garbage collection truck nearby. At checkout, I wanted to buy some water bottles for the road - it literally took the receptionist 15 minutes and multiple discussions on the phone to determine how much to charge me for the water. The whole experience was unsatisfactory.

We stayed at Koggala Long Beach Resort for our office annual trip (38 pax, full board, beach-view rooms). Room rates were reasonable, food was very good as they operate as a 3-star hotel and staff service was excellent. Special thanks to Yashodha for handling the group booking and Manager Kavinda for the great support. Overall, a very good experience.

We are in love with Sri Lanka! The rooms are clean. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is nice. The staff is really friendly. Special thanks to Muvendra (executive housekeeper)! He is always polite and ready to help in any situation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the long beach resort. The staff here is too helpful & tourist friendly. Mr Muvendra(housekeeping executive), Mr.Ishara (from IT) & their staff also helped us organise a special evening party & dinner at their property. Top notch arrangement were made by them & it was beyond your expectations. It is a family/ friends friendly resort which provides touristy vibes. Must stay if visiting srilanka.

A wonderful place for some food and drinks. Excellent service, There are lots of bars along this beach but this one is among the best!

It was a pleasent stay. The location was very beautiful, adjuscent to the sea. Atmosphere was calm. The sight of the sea was welcoming. We booked a suite for 4 persons. The view of the see from the room was fantastic. The view of the sea from the initial room we reserved was partially blocked by a tree and when informed the management they gave us another room. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room.had all the amenities that should be there including the linen, towels, soap, shampoo, even the dental kit and shaving kits. The room came with a bath tub and mini fridge. Cleanliness of the room was good. With our request of change the room (for better sight of the sea).they cleaned another room very quickly. The service of Ms. Anuradha Ratnayake and Mr. Nishantha on attending to this is commendable. Food was good. Served in buffet. Anyway, 'earler the better' rule is applicable to the buffet. They had 2 pools. We used the larger one with quite environment whixh had a deep end. The value for money is justified in selecting this hotel for our long felt family trip.

Amazing Stay at Long Beach Resort! I had a good experience at Long Beach Resort. The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely marvelous with a great variety to choose from. The hotel has two swimming pools which were clean and relaxing, and the beautiful beach right in front is perfect for sunset walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. A special thanks to Ranjeewa from the Reservations team, who went out of his way to assist me whenever I needed anything — truly professional and kind! The rooms were clean and spacious, and overall, the atmosphere of the resort was peaceful and welcoming. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to relax by the beach. Looking forward to visiting again

Had an amazing stay at A Long Beach, Sri Lanka! The service was excellent the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. The beach access from the property is absolutely fantastic, and the swimming pool is beautiful and well-maintained. The food was delicious, with great variety and quality. The best part was the beach itself it felt like a private one for the hotel, peaceful and not crowded at all. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!
