I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Yes it it is a more budget offering than we are used to (because hotels are so expensive in Switzerland) but it was very pleasant. Clean and very large rooms, clean towels and bedding, excellent hospitality, tasty and fresh breakfast. We would stay here again if visiting Interlaken.

The hotel is located near the bus stop and boat station. Although there is a lift, our room still required a few stairs to access. The room was clean and spacious, and it provided all the necessary items we needed. There is also a water machine where you can get still or sparkling water.

Decent hotel, good food — but beware of rude staff!
I recently stayed at this hotel and while the overall property was good — clean rooms, tasty food, and a convenient location near the railway station — my experience was completely ruined by the behaviour of one of the day staff members.
A particular lady at the front desk was extremely rude and resentful throughout my stay. Basic courtesies and politeness were missing. Even simple things like asking for a cup or were met with sarcastic comments and visible resentment. We were taken aback with the treatment. It felt like guests were an inconvenience to her.
It’s really disappointing because the hotel itself is nice and the rest of the team seemed decent, but one unpleasant person can ruin the vibe of an entire stay. This hotel is expensive, also charges deposit money as a bomb, we expected basic courtesy.
A hotel’s biggest asset is its staff — no matter how good the food or location is, disrespectful behaviour kills the experience.
Good food and location can’t make up for unprofessional behaviour. I hope they fix this soon — otherwise, it’s just not worth the money or the stress. Management seriously needs to train their staff in hospitality basics. Think twice before booking — you deserve better service for what you pay!

Gorgeous little hotel, staff on reception are so friendly and helpful. Room was huge for the money and a lovely little balcony. It’s right next to main station and they give you a guest card to use public transport for free in Interlaken.

Hotel is surely above the 3.9 as shown in the reviews. We had a wonderful stay here and it's perfect if you are looking for a place with great connectivity. There are many restaurants and shops nearby + the interlaken west bus and railway stations are 5 min away by walk. The breakfast is also nice with some variety.
The best part of the stay- The kind and helpful staff who always make you feel comfortable.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a stay that is comfortable with all basic facilities. Since the building itself is old there might be some constraints but I believe they do not hide this stuff and promise anything beyond what they are really about.

This is great, an old-style hotel with mechanical locks. The main door is locked after 10pm. It is best to change the key at the front desk before going out. The most important thing is that the door key is too heavy. There are many rules in the hotel. You must avoid dirtying the room. The deposit is 200 Swiss francs. Overseas cards are refunded on the same day, but it is hard to say for domestic credit cards. The balcony has a good view, facing the snow-capped mountains

The description page clearly states that single rooms can have extra beds, but when checking in, the front desk staff firmly said no. Communication with Ctrip was ineffective, so I had to find another hotel temporarily.

I hope my evaluation can help more people. I will say it three times: don't stay in this hotel, it is terrible in all aspects! Don't take a shower in your room or you will lose 100 Swiss francs!
