This is a fine restaurant in the heart of the city and a place steeped in history. It's the oldest restaurant in the city, boasting over 500 years of service. The service is friendly and welcoming, making it a recommended place to visit if you're passing through Lucerne. The rooms are restored, but reflect the taste of yesteryear. They're very romantic, and some feature beautiful silk wall hangings and picturesque city landscapes, just like in the old days. I recommend this place to my friends visiting this beautiful Alpine city.

The location was very good, near the chapel bridge and close to a number of restaurants, including in the hotel itself and not too far from the train station. The rooms were a decent size and had a definite retro feel. There was no air conditioning, but were provided with a fan. The bed was an old spring style one with a lean on it and I didn't really get a good night's sleep both nights I was there. In addition the first day my shower was barely luke warm, but luckily the situation was better the next day. I defintely loved the old time feel of the hotel, as it was memorable and different and on my trip it had to be one of the standout ones., but the bed was a bit of a disappointment and the fan was useful but not as effective as air con.

Close to old town main attractions, less than 10 minutes walk from train station but a little tedious to drag heavy luggage to there. Breakfast was good.

Very poor service, tough attitude. I missed the train and could not arrive at the hotel as scheduled, but the hotel still refused to refund and refused to negotiate.
Ctrip customer service proposed a 30% refund or change of check-in date, but the hotel refused it completely.

this hotel is full of history and the deco looks amazing, great staff who smile at the time. Location is really central, so close to the bahnhof and easily walkable.

The hotel is more than 500 years old and has a sense of history. The rooms are clean and spacious. The service is warm and welcoming. The restaurant is decorated in a European classical style with a warm flavor. The hotel is in a prime location, close to the river and a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient.

The location, environment and service are all OK, but the facilities are a little bit poor. The shower head is very small, there is no air conditioning, only a fan, and I woke up twice because of the heat at night.
