Hotel Garni Jägerhof in Saas Fee

Above all the service and friendliness will ensure you enjoy your holiday. We appreciated the chance to eat in on some evenings which is more than we expected when booking. We’d definitely return. Some useful information - It took us a while to figure the shower out (how to change temperature-not all are the same but in ours there was a tap which you nudged right or left to change temperature- in case that is helpful). The offer of an extra pillow was very much appreciated. You can get picked up from the bus station by electric vehicle (as Saas Fee is pedestrianised). Ski in ski out? - The ski in ski out certainly is - the hotel is near the nursery slope and on the way to the slope you cross the quiet road, strap on skis and can ski to ticket office in main area (at one point taking skis off to cross a path) and on the way back go up the nursery drag (closes 4:45) the ski down and spy the nice big red sign for hotel garni and have a very fun ski past the odd tree and garden back to that same quiet road outside the hotel. Not a route for beginners but fun as long as you are not.

Worth the effort flying half the globe to be here in this lovely hotel in Saas Fee! Spectacular view from the room, you can just walk out from hotel and start enjoying the snow and ski! Great service from hotel host, free pickup and great hospitality.

Excellent stay, the staff is one of a kind.. they make you feel at home. The location is outstanding, very clean hotel and good food. Will certainly be back!! Thanks to the Jaegerhof family!! :)

The family is very helpful providing guidance and information, the room had a nice view, was clean and offered everything needed for a comfortable stay.

A lovely Saas fee hotel, run by a lovely local couple and very well situated, close to the marmots in the summer and ski in ski out in the winter. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great, you can also have dinner there if you’d like. Really nice place with a super welcoming atmosphere

Staying at Jägerhof in Saas Fee was truly outstanding. Upon arriving at the bus station, I called the hotel, and the owner himself came to pick us up, which set the tone for a warm, personalized experience.

Once we reached the hotel, he took the time to explain everything about Saas Fee, highlighting activities and must-see spots. We were handed the key to our suite on the 4th floor, complete with a balcony and a breathtaking view of the mountains. The overall atmosphere felt like staying with family, as we shared stories and cultural insights, discovering similarities in our backgrounds.

They offer breakfast and dinner daily, and on the evening we dined, they went the extra mile to provide halal/kosher options, which added a special touch of hospitality that we deeply appreciated. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable.

We were fortunate to experience both a late summer ambiance and snowfall during our stay, which added a magical touch. Although we came to ski and their ski-in, ski-out feature wasn’t ready due to limited snow, the natural beauty and warmth of the hotel more than made up for it.

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like we had a second family in Saas Fee. We’re already looking forward to visiting again, perhaps in the summer season.

The only “workout” we weren’t prepared for was the uphill walk back to the hotel! Let’s just say, if you stay here, you’ll come for the views but leave with legs of steel. Consider it a free gym membership with an incredible mountain backdrop!

Good for families and skiers, hikers and all mountain lovers. Close to the slopes for in and out skiing experience. Close to the village centre, shops, ski schools etc. Lovely breakfast and supper (optional). Super view on the slopes and mountains.

Super service, very well located and friendly. The rooms were very clean my daughter was crawling on the floor no issues! Also the little play area is excellent and great for the kids. Breakfast was also healthy, fresh and delicious. You need to trey the fresh smoothie.

Wonderful family run hotel - clean, comfortable and very friendly. Prompt pickup from parking terminal. Superbly placed for ski in / ski out and easy walk to centre whilst being quiet. Good value, especially for single rooms.

We spent a wonderful New Year's skiing vacation at this pet-friendly hotel and enjoyed everything about it.

The ski room is spacious, and there's a convenient way to and back from the slopes, which the owners explained at length during check-in.

Our room was quiet and comfortably generous for two people and a cat, with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful mountain range view.

We enjoyed a varied buffet breakfast every morning, with an adequate selection of vegetables and cheeses, great coffee, and delicious eggs prepared à la carte.

Last but not least, we especially appreciated the hospitable and friendly demeanor shown by the owners and the entire staff towards their guests. It made our stay feel like they had welcomed us into their house and cheerfully cared for us to have a great vacation.

We would happily return to Hotel-Garni Jägerhof.
