The hotel is on the other side of the ski slopes and Saas Fee downtown, but that gives you good relaxing nights and mornings, away from the busiest and noisier part of the town. It is also 50 meters away from the first stop of the ski bus, so that means you can take the free bus (little train) empty in the morning. The little train takes 15 minutes to go to the ski cable cars and is quite comfy.
Patrick, takes care of picking you at the parking lot, and brings you back the day you leave. He was also quite helpful overall, and even made a detour to allow us to pick our ski gear from the Belmont ski locker downtown. This extra service really made our day !
The hotel is standard overall, it has an OK spa with jacuzzi and sauna which is quite nice to relax after skiing. The breakfast is good.
I think the hotel has an excellent value.

nice hotel with a nice view. very far from the town centre. We booked directly on the site. I give 2 stars because we preferred it, although in Saas fee there are nicer hotels at cheaper prices, due to the presence of the SPA, but, only when we arrived, they deny us permission to use it, claiming that it was all under restoration. I believe that a disservice like this should be reported first. Even though we communicated the problem to management, we were offered no alternative solutions and we paid full price. I don't know what the law is in Switzerland, but in other countries this behavior is considered fraudulent.

What a friendly and warm place! We were able to make Dutch oliebollen in their kitchen for New Year’s Eve.

Room heating was turned off centrally (despite -10*). To add to that, the balcony door does not close properly.
We called 2h before arrival to inquire for a taxi service and we’ve been told is a 5-7 walk from parking… it was in fact a good 15 min uphill, normally not a problem yet with luggage and skis it does pose a problem. The floor carpet in the room is in desperate need of cleaning… overall it just looked worn out…

At Hotel Alpenperle, you get to step back in time in two ways. 1. with the 90s decor and 2. with the lack of Covid precautions. Sadly, the staff either do not wear masks or do not wear them properly. We skipped breakfast both days because I noticed that they weren't taking basic hygiene precautions (i.e. the scoops for the cereal were IN with the cereal--this is bad form even in normal times). If you're not into taking basic measures to prevent the spread of this virus, then by all means, stay here. I would have changed hotels, but unfortunately I booked this in 2019 and they did not offer a refund -- which certainly tracks, in retrospect. I gave it one additional star for being clean (or so it seemed...).

Awesome hotel. Big rooms with Mountain View. Fantastic breakfast and incredible sauna. Very flexible and super service minded host. A bit of a walk to the slopes. But there is a small ‘train’ for free who take you there. It stops in front of the door. Can only recommend this awesome place

Wonderful hotel, family friendly! Been there with a 9 month baby and had no problems. There is a kid area with some toys and soft carpet. Clean, free wifi, elevator, close to shuttle stop

Clean and very comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful people. Accessible, walking distance to and from town centre, sights and activities.
