The staff was a bit rude and rough…
Cute and simple bed and breakfast. To improve:
- Mattress quality was really mediocre, way too soft, same with the pillows. Difficult to sleep well after a day of skiing.
- The younger woman at the reception desk was unfriendly and made it difficult to use the steam bath saying it was full when it wasn't.
Negative:
- room not well cleaned
- poorly insulated (can hear neighbors and even the lift engine)
- balcony door/window broken coz very old
- cold, not friendly reception service
- far from ski lifts at the village entrance
- restaurant making 2 service per night just to pocket as much money as possible (a scandal as they kick you out for the next customers and you see them stressful running around - tourist trap)
Positive:
- good breakfast included
- comfortable bed
- free shuttle bus
However for a cost below chf200 p.night, it might be a good budget value for backpackers without expectations!
Pick-up from the silos parking with the electric shuttle; excellent breakfast; clean and spacious rooms; great restaurant, always a smile.
About dinner: if you like meat, that’s the place in town: “the gentleman cut” was delicious, both medium-rear and rear.
I travels lot and rarely I felt so welcomed, as if I was at their place!
