Great experience, stayed for 1 week - nothing to complain about. Definitely worth to visit
Overall the hotel was good.
The beach and pool was very nice.
Food was hit and miss as certain items were repeated.
Our Butler Ramson was provided with our Jungle Villa was excellent and his service was impeccable.
Th hotel is approximately 1.5 hours from Stone Town.
Overall we enjoyed the hotel amenities and food.
We enjoyed the stay and the staff were very friendly.
However, due to a flight cancellation we arrived a day after our check-in date. I did send the hotel a message advising them of this and asking if they could do anything about the (all inclusive) cost but received NO response.
The day we checked out we were told that we would have to pay for any food and drink consumed after the 11:00 check-out...
Absolutely excellent
Fantastic location, great staff, very friendly and efficient. Led by a brilliant General Manager.
Good food and very pleasant thematic evenings with shows.
Loved the service and how the staff always paid attention to customers. This resort overfed me lol!! Highly recommended..
Great beach. Clean rooms and common areas. Good food. Friendly staff. Overall we had a wonderful time. Things to improve- 1. Access road to the hotel is really bad. 2. All dishes should be named and allergies taken seriously. 3. A table and chair would be useful in the rooms. 4. Gym is very basic. 5. Activities like exercise sessions in the pool, beach yoga, cooking demos will further enhance the value...

My stay at the Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Resort & Spa was incredible. The location is just perfect with direct beach access, and I really appreciated how safe it felt – there's security around so nobody bothers you, which makes such a difference. We stayed in one of the villas and honestly, it had everything. Private pool with loungers and hammocks, really good air conditioning, a kitchen with a...
The best of the best you can find on this island. Location - amazing (a huge white sand beach, a wonderfully curated garden); accomodation - superb (pristine clean, comfortable, spacious rooms); food - unbelievable (quality of ingredients, the way dishes are prepared and delivered, all is top); personnel - wonderful (Hamida we miss you, but also Janeth and all other waiters, Haji the driver, and every...
A fantastic place. The staff is incredibly nice, monkeys come and go in the trees, the spa is perfect and the food is excellent with some nice happenings : local artists are often invited to play music and dance. Thanks to Valerie, the general manager, to Ramadhan, the nicest buttler you'll ever meet, and all the staff : Beatrice, Doreen, Karoline, Moudric the guide, Evelyne and Moreen at the spa...
R&C’s White Sand Villas in Zanzibar was an exceptional venue for our family’s New Year getaway. We left another property in the northwest of Zanzibar when two rooms were available last minute for a stay here. The grounds are impeccable and blend in beautifully with the natural white sand surroundings. The allure of kite surfers is magnificent from the clean, not-busy beach. The villas are extremely...
"We had an incredible family holiday at Zanzibar White Sand Luxury villas. We had our stunning villa and the large private pool, which offered total seclusion and hours of fun for the kids and beyond, the food was exceptional, every meal was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect blend of luxury, privacy, and top-tier dining. The staff treated our children like royalty...
A Slice of Paradise – With a French Twist! I’m staying at White Sand Luxury Villas right now, and honestly… it’s everything a Relais & Châteaux hotel should be — relaxed luxury with zero fuss and lots of “oh wow” moments. Valérie, the manager (a fabulous French lady), runs the place beautifully. You can feel her touch everywhere: stylish, calm, and just the right amount of chic. The staff are wonderful...

Excellent hotel, the room is clean, far from civilization, and that's a plus
Food selection is limited. No wifi in the rooms and the activity program was limited. Great scenery and wildlife though, and friendly staff.
It was Amazing everyone is very nice and Amani and Nassee Are Amazing workers!!!! Hassan is awesome too, the massais Are very respektful! 10/10
Room was smaller than we expected but it has what you need.Staff very friendly and attentive Hassan has been extremely helpful and always greets us with a hello and smile.Could do with music around the pool and beach bar as very quiet.A bit isolated for us as we like be able to walk into town to see the local culture.
Great experience and value for money
Such a charming little hotel , we’re already planning to return next year! It’s simple and relaxed, with an authentic African vibe, so don’t come expecting luxury, but come for the warm atmosphere and the people. The staff are some of the kindest and friendliest you could meet, always ready to help with a smile.

This hotel is paradise. Only 30 villas spread out over a large area with a stunning beach and gorgeous pool area. The staff are plentiful and attentive, all providing service with a smile. Yassine gets a particular mention for being the guy that goes above and beyond, and gets special requests sorted.
From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The villas are breathtaking — beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully detailed, blending luxury with authentic Zanzibar style. The food was exceptional and truly unforgettable. What made the experience truly outstanding was the service. The staff provided warm, attentive, and highly personalized care, making us feel special...

Banagi, Serengeti National Park 🧭 Map
The property is stunningly beautiful, rich with wildlife and breath taking views in every direction. It's unfair to call the rooms tents as they are fully built out ultra luxury villas complete with hardwood flooring, copper tubs and every amenity you would expect at a 5-star property. However, what separates One Nature is the incredible staff. Our butler and housekeeper, Emmie and Johnson, were more...
We’ve stayed in some of the nicest hotels around the world but this stands above them all. They thought of everything: warm bath ready by the fire; Bonfire with an outdoor movie; Clean sheepskin rug when you step out of bed; Absolutely spotless - the room is cleaned each time you step out; Star gazing; infinity pool and jacuzzi with swim up bar. …Don’t worry if you miss the great migration - plenty...

Staying at One Nature felt like stepping into a different era, where every detail evoked a sense of timeless elegance. Amazing experience , with excellent service. The staff makes you feel welcome and makes your stay special. I’m frankly at a loss for words to describe this resort. It was simply one of the most memorable, enjoyable and unforgettable experiences of our lives. We recently celebrated our anniversary at Zanzi Resort, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of.

I stayed for three nights as a solo traveler in one of the garden suites. Overall, I think this is an excellent resort that is affordable, clean, with a gorgeous beach very friendly staff I did not do full board but was able to order off the lunch menu for dinner and overall the food was good.

I have been in many resorts around the world, but the best one, so far is Zanzi Resort in Zanzibar. Excellent is the word for everything in this amazing resort: exceptional staff, cleanliness, great location, delicious food, comfortable rooms. We were greeted by the Assistant General Manager, Mr.Elias Soka, a very professional and competent manager. His hospitality management skills and his whole...
The food was incredible and the service was amazing. Everyone took the time to learn our names and even helped us expand our Swahili vocabulary. The chef changed the dinner menu every night, which made every meal feel special. They offer many add ons to enhance your trip as well and many in-house activities organised for you.
Secluded confortable with private pool villas in tropical gardens on the sea . Perfect for a relaxed chill holidays inn Zanzibar !
Everything about this hotel is 5*!! The property is extremely well maintained! The food was absolutely delicious, every single member of staff was so lovely, attentive and welcoming! We sat out on the jetty every day to view sunset - breathtaking views and we also managed to see some dolphins! Thank you for looking after us so well and giving our family some wonderful memories :)

My wife and I decided to stay again at The Palms after our mountain gorilla trek. It was great to be back! It was just as we remembered in 2024. We were able to stay in the same villa. We were very happy to be back and our...
You will have seen the previous positive feedback from others. I can assure you its even better than they say. We are just back from a fabulous 9 day stay (should have been 7 but issues around the gulf meant we stayed a further 2 days). From the start entering reception we had a lovely warm welcome. We were given a tour of the grounds before going to our amazing villa for our stay. From the well...
I haven’t written a review for a long time. Maybe the places we’ve been in the world haven’t really been worthy of one however when, once in a lifetime, somewhere touches you so sincerely that maybe the rest of the world needs to hear about it. Now, to describe this place, it would be advised to close your eyes, sit back, breathe deeply and not to let your surroundings distract you. Relaxed...
Loved our stay at Tides everything was perfect. The rooms are amazing all with Ocean views , the food is excellent with great choices everyday. Bar staff are fabulous making the best cocktails ever. We have just returned from the most wonderful place and can only recommend The Palms, the best food served by a very service-minded staff, we were welcomed by manager Mr. Siriak who showed us around and aperitifs were ready immediately after arrival - fantastic welcome, and fantastic atmosphere, very quiet and intimate place with 7 lovely houses with plenty of space, this is the place where the service...
For many years we travelled extensively over the world in pursuit of the perfect place for a senior couple like ourselves to spend the Christmas season in the sun. Since we found The Palms at Zanzibar some years ago we don't have to search any longer. Perfect service, the best food the Indian Ocean can offer and very nice wines from South Africa. Everything was great except I did not receive the food and beverage credit that was promised with my ******* reservation.
The room was beautiful and very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was wonderful. And a great location for walking around Stone Town which was very safe. In all an excellent stay.
Good location, convenient to go out, and there are many Chinese restaurants nearby.
This is a lovely hotel in a historic building. It’s walking distance to all the sights of Stonetown. Our room was clean and comfortable. The balcony looked out to the Indian Ocean. Staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the receptionist who helped us with booking our transfer to the airport at the end of our stay.
Great Stay
Wonderful hotel on the beach in Stone Town. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Nice views and pool.
The bed was perfect and our room had a nice view of the pool and ocean. The staff, Rabia, Yunus, and Yussuf Big to name only a few were great. A perfect place to stay for 4 days before our safari.

Qambani is a lovely, quiet resort with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and lovingly decorated. We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at Qambani and already on the first day we felt at home here. The resort is stunningly beautiful but it is the team that makes the stay unforgettable. I arrived for my stay at 5 Am. I was escorted to my room by the front desk agent and LOVED the huge room. It had its own private poool! Very spacious. Ocean view. A late checkout was granted. Staff were very friendly. Rashid the General Manager had great communication. If you are looking for a hotel in a quiet location, this is the plcacw for you. The hotel grounds were beautiful!!
Very good, all rooms have private pools and sea views. The rooms are large, the hotel has various vehicles, there are motorboats one kilometer away, and it takes 20 minutes to see dolphins.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The manager and staff are PHENOMENAL!! It was our Honeymoon and we were showered with so much Love ❤️
My husband and I just returned from an 8 night vacation at Kasha and had a wonderful time celebrating our first anniversary! An amazing stay at the Kilindi. The hotel and its grounds are stunning, beach tropical beautiful in high tide, and the food exquisitely prepared and the best we have had in any hotel we have stayed at. Beautiful accommodation with an extremely nice butler, Salum. Reception, however, was poor: my birthday was forgotten despite multiple notifications.
We had an amazing 4 night stay at Kilindi to wrap up our Honeymoon in Tanzania. The hotel itself is unique with a beautiful pool area that overlooks a small cove where local fishermen can be seen giving an insight into local life on the island. Our stay at this beautiful hotel in Zanzibar was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location is breathtaking, middle in the beautiful garden full of flowers and trees. I had an exceptional experience at Tikitam Palms. The location was perfect and the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this Boutique Hotel.
Fabulous place, with wonderfully kind staff. The garden is a paradise on earth, with various animals. Unlike Kenya, there are no thieves here, the birds and monkeys are completely peaceful. The pool is clean and fresh. The accommodation has 18 people, as far as I know, so the biggest "crowd" is only at dinner. This is also spread over the 2.5 hour dinner time. During the day, we did not meet anyone...
A beautiful and peaceful place, very quiet and never crowded. The location is lush and green; we truly felt as though we were living in the jungle, yet with excellent service and exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished in a traditional style. Food and beverages are also outstanding, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic.
Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.

My friend and I went for a girls trip to Zanzibar and we stayed at Amani for a few nights. The hotel itself was beautiful, serene and directly on the Paje beachfront. They knew us by name and made us feel very comfortable (being 2 females traveling alone). We had a...
We stayed in Amani for one week and really loved the hotel. If you are looking for entertainment or nightlife Amani is not the place to stay, but if you look for a place to relax and disconnect, this is the right place. The rooms are big enough and provide the necessary comfort. The room is cleaned daily and there is also a turndown service in the evening, with some sweets on the pillow. Since...
Yet another amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. From the brilliant welcoming smile from Elizabeth, the Resident Manager, upon arrival, every member of staff gave us an enthusiastic greeting throughout our stay. What a nice experience. We spent four nights in a lovely ocean view room and enjoyed every minute. The place is beautiful and very well taken care of. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. All the personnel were extremely friendly, we really felt welcome. So if you want a really nice hotel this is an excellent choice.
Wonderful experience here even if it was for a short stay. Room #10 was amazing with wonderful view on the indian ocean, staff was kind, massages great and food excellent. It’s the best accommodation we stayed in during our holiday, really worth the price.
Lovely hotel in fabulous location. Downside building work outside hotel so early wake up call at 7am every day. Hotel bar closes really early so nothing much to do at night also service slow at the beach. Manager is good and we expressed our issues with her. Think it needs the manager to be on site more as she is not often around.
