The service is amazing, the staff is extremely friendly (genuine, not the fake friendliness), the rooms are amazing and the beach is soo clean and beautiful

The food is also amazing!! Which is really not common at all inclusive resorts. A special thanks to Khadija from the reception who recognized us when we came back for the second time and even upgraded our room

Very beautiful views of the beach. Lots of secluded places, I really liked the pool near the Crystal restaurant. The cuisine is not very varied. Over 6 days, a couple of dishes changed, everything else is standard

By the way, the security on the beach tries not to let the sellers of everything and anything who walk along the beach get close to the guests, because there is no escape from them

Also, on a particular day we had drilling works on top of our room which is not ideal if you are trying to rest. Take note of the beach tide which does not help if you strictly want to swim in the beach only

Positives: The hotel area is huge, boasts very good facilities, has 3 separate pools and a beautiful beach area thus avoiding overcrowded areas

The staff could not do enough for you and always happy and smiling. We were chilled right from the minute we got there to the minute we left

The restaurant and beach staff are friendly, polite, and always helpful. Another pleasant surprise was the WiFi, which worked quite well not only in the room, but also on the beach and at the reception

Another issue, though not the hotel’s fault, is the presence of very persistent Masai sellers on the beach. They can be extremely pushy and even guilt-trip you into giving them money

Luckily, the hotel security keeps them away from the sunbeds, which is much appreciated

A big plus for original Coca-Cola drinks and bottled beers – a small detail, but it really makes a difference. However, there are also some downsides. The hotel is very much focused on Italian guests

While the rooms have a nice local style, they definitely need some maintenance and repairs – in my case, the shower sprayed water onto the ceiling, and the bathroom door didn’t open freely

One uncomfortable situation was when a cleaning lady entered our room despite being asked to come later, and said she would just wait inside – which was not appropriate

A Very clean, and comfortable resort that has tours and activities you can do and never be bored unless you want to be. The golf cart ride to the beach was found by accident but a nice find

Initially we had some issues with our villa and with the condition of its balcony, which was due for refurbishment as the neighbouring villa was being worked on - so it wasn’t a great start, however the staff were attentive and sorted us out by relocating us a brand new private villa which in one word was WOW! The hotel's location and the rooms/bungalows are very nice. However, the stay was marred by a very dirty beach. While trash is collected, it's buried in a hole in the sand

The buffet was quite extensive and we got to enjoy a fresh sea food corner and the kids loved this especially the octopus. But a sweet treat was at the dessert corner

In all, was a good night with good entertainment (and the bubbly for sure ensured the tossing to the new year was done in style)

Really good value for money, everything is good. Watch out for crows at breakfast, they always come to snatch my food. The waiters are also very nnice, responsible and conscientious. Love the gym!!

My Blu Hotel Zanzibar exceeded all expectations! Excellent location on Kendwa Beach, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, and dinner with a sea view was simply magical

A good hotel, located in a bay, you can only walk along the beach at low tide during the day. In general, the low tides are not strong

The hotel is big and has access to the beach. There is also an infinity pool which has nice views of the beach. The beach is nice although be careful of sea urchins near the rocks

Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+ There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside

There were some sunbeds around the pool , there was no problem to find sunbeds at the beach. Beach towels were changed each evening in the room. During the day at the reception if needed

Sultan Sands is a wonderfull resort, located on de beach. The resort is well maintained, luxurious and beautifully set up

We arrived here on the 9th of march after our flights had been cancelled due to the war , we arrived at 10pm at night after sourcing emergancy accomodation and we were greeted by MIKE , he has been nothing but amazing thru out our stay , today the 16th of march again out flights were delayed and mike went out his way to accomodate our stay checking in on myself and my party , daily he found us made...

Just for note this area of Zanzibar is tidal so check the notice board for timings to get the most of out of the beach and any water sports. We tried paddle boarding and kayaking
