Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa in Kiwengwa

It perfectly sits on the kiwengwa beach there is nothing better than that. The food the service the peaceful vibe of the whole resort is just addictive. I honestly didn’t felt like going back on my last day.

We loved absolutely everything about this resort. It was nice and quiet, there wasn’t many people, which was good because there was always free seats at the beach, and near the pool. The employees are extremely friendly. Every night, around 9, they came to spray our room against bugs, mostly mosquitoes, it helped a lot, our room was beautiful, and the pools were nice to cool off in

We arrived here on the 9th of march after our flights had been cancelled due to the war , we arrived at 10pm at night after sourcing emergancy accomodation and we were greeted by MIKE , he has been nothing but amazing thru out our stay , today the 16th of march again out flights were delayed and mike went out his way to accomodate our stay checking in on myself and my party , daily he found us made sure we were happy relaxed and had everything we needed !! The staff have all been amazing too so polite and welcoming which in our time of need upset and stress was really humbling we have been here over a week and have not one single complaint i have never in all my years met a more accomodating manager and hotel so from the daftys from scotland we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts u made our stay amazing , plus the food is YUMMY and i can now say i no the full dance to jerusalem we will never forget out time and stay at bluebay hotel the ground are spotless the team work non stop keeping this resort beautiful i cannot praise them high enough always a jambo every time we passed

First visit to Zanzibar and the people here have made such an impact on our trip in a wonderful way. The hotel is very clean and presented so well with gorgeous floral and leaf decorations made by the staff. The staff are the friendliest and most conscientious, hardworking people I have met, with so much pride I their in their work and a genuine care to make your stay perfect, from concierge, reception, housekeeping, groundspeople, waiting staff, chefs, bar tenders, all of them deserve a mention! The food was excellent, great themes each day so a good variety and not your usual boring buffet. The à la cartes were excellent too. There was never any issue finding sun loungers, it’s a very relaxed vibe within the resort and I would describe it best suited for a few days recharging and relaxing after a safari or travelling. This isn’t a standard glossy chain hotel, this is an authentic tropical hotel, very comfortable, beautifully presented and offering great quality food and excellent customer care, I would recommend a stay here. Just for note this area of Zanzibar is tidal so check the notice board for timings to get the most of out of the beach and any water sports. We tried paddle boarding and kayaking. Some replacement equipment would be beneficial as we were given kayak oars for the paddleboard (which were too short) as others had been snapped but it was noticed they were still stored with the equipment days later. Also the spa is lovely and easy to book and well priced. Please tip the staff for good service, they work hard and you can see that tourism makes a positive impact to the island.

We had an amazing vacation! The staff is very friendly, polite and welcoming. All the hotels territory is very quiet, nice and beautiful. Only best recommendations!

Beautiful facility on the doorstep of the warm aquamarine Indians ocean! Our room was spacious with A fusion of Arab, Mediterranean and Swahili decor & architecture! My husband and I loved this resort! This was our second visit this year! The staff were naturally warm accommodating and attentive! We we very much pampered with the service & spa messages, etc! Took long walks on the beautiful spacious clean white beach barefooted ! Our room had a veranda with a psmall pool we swam in after our walks , lovely! Quiet calm environment Large tropical gardens! 5 star treatment!

This is well worth a visit ,the staff are amazing and work very hard ,our room was very spacious and kept very clean .We were all inclusive the meals were fine and the chefs work hard and the work station were spotless the garden were also very nice . Just one suggestion would be nice to see a communial tip box rather than just bar staff and s.taff on the front getting tips as it takes team work to rin a hotel especially the ones behind the scenes get overlooked. Would definitely return

We spent 3 wonderful nights here and truly enjoyed our stay. Our Junior Suite with a private pool was beautiful and relaxing. ✨ A special thank you to the amazing F&B team, especially Manager Adonis and his wonderful team Yassin, Grace, Yasmin, Tarek, and all the lovely staff at the bar, for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. You made every breakfast and moment so enjoyable! ☕️ Also, a special thank you to Said from Bahari Grill Restaurant, he is incredibly professional and gave us the best service we’ve ever received. Such a beautiful, clean, and peaceful place. We absolutely loved it! ❤️
