Breezes Beach Club and Spa in Bwejuu

Fabulous place, incredible staff, great facilities and true tranquility. You can relax in a wonderful setting, really is heaven on earth

This was our 5th time at Breezes and it was great to be back. We were an extended family group and all of us had a fantastic time. The dining area had been revamped since our last visit in 2023 and the wide choice of food was still excellent. We particularly enjoyed having the special breakfast at the beachside. What makes Breezes so special for us is the amazing staff who are soattentive to all your needs and they all help make your stay even more enjoyable - special mention goes to Dora and Mtwana. We are hoping to be back next year and we cannot wait. Many thanks to everyone at Breezes once again for a fantastic stay.

Very nice Location in a Great Area. Exzellent v service and very Good service from breakfast to Dinner. After ohne week of Safari the ideal Place for a few days to relaxed.

We arrived at Breezes beach club and Spa as a party if 6, immediately we were welcomed with cooling face towels by the staff after the drive from the airport. First view of reception area is very relaxing and looking further through you can see a wonderful pool area and further from there is the view of the ocean, it was such a beautiful view and we knew instantly that this hotel was going to be a dream destination, the location is stunning and the whole hotel set up is absolutely spot on. After receiving a refreshing drink we were shown to our rooms and I can only say these did not disappoint, very clean with plenty of space and a large bed with nets draped from the four corners, which every night were lowered by the staff when they turned your bed down. The pool area was always clean and very peaceful with plenty of sunbeds all day, this is the same for the private area of beach that belongs to the hotel and the way this is set up is perfect with the staff always on hand to bring drinks and snacks to you, the beach bar is great place to sit as it is next to pool and has great views of the beach The main dining area setting is again wonderful with the staff always on hand to help, it seems that they alternate the evening dining experience from buffet one evening then a 5 course meal the next but you can choose from their menu, the buffet evening we’re always themed and every night there was entertainment just out side the dining area which ranged from music, acrobatics and small shows all from locals which provided great background ambience. Just one point to make about evening dining which we were not informed about men have to wear long trousers, fortunately I had packed a pair of linen trousers for the first time ever, if you do arrive in shorts the staff will supply a sarong so not the end of the world. This is the first review I have ever left on trip advisor and I could keep on writing about our experience as there is so much more to tell, what makes this place is the staff , there is just nothing that they will not do for you, they will not let you do anything and they just want to look after you which is a really big credit to the owners as this a family owned hotel Breezes you did not disappoint and made our Zanzibar experience truly paradise

Thank you so much Breezes Beach for a truly fantastic and memorable holiday in Zanzibar! We first stayed at Breezes a year ago and decided to return for our second stay. We absolutely love this hotel and for us it feels like coming back home. The setting is pure paradise with incredible views at every angle of Bwejuu Beach; the best beach we have ever seen. The precision to detail that goes into all the themed dinners, excellent food and interior decorations is exceptional and first class. This is something the hotel should be proud of. There is a wonderful calmness in the air at Breezes and unlike anywhere else we have stayed. We immediately felt relaxed on our arrival with a warm welcome from the staff. Breezes sums up Hakuna Matata and is the perfect destination for escapism and relaxation. The staff are the friendliest people and we enjoyed the daily conversations and banter with the staff whilst practising Swahili! A special thank you and mention to Brayson for his wonderful cheery nature and always being so attentive with the biggest smile and infectious positive attitude! We would also like to say thank you to Mtwana, Eva, Dora, Said, Ramam, Nabile, Juliet, Suleman and Juma (Pool Attendant) for being very welcoming and looking after us so kindly during our stay. A big thank you to Lucy and Diana, our room maids from this year and last year who kept our rooms beautifully clean and comfortable. Lastly a special thank you and mention to Lucas who was very attentive in checking with us and to Augustina for making our second stay very memorable and wonderful. A big thank you for providing us the best Indian Ocean views from our Rooms 7 & 8. We very much look forward to returning to Breezes! The customer service was top notch, starting from the reception the check in was smooth really appreciated that the waiters were really considerate and helpful,,,we really also loved the food.special mention to nabir the waiter and chuda am not sure if that's the name but his at the reception and he also dances they made our stay feel more like home.

Amazing place, friendly and efficient staff. Gardens really well kept and rooms the cleanest and well kept we have been to in a long while.

Incredible resort with incredible staff. The food was plentiful with much variety. Our room was kept perfectly clean each day. Every staff member was always smiling and bent over backwards to help you. Our service industry in North America could learn from them. One small suggestion…. their fitness centre equipment badly needs updating. We would definitely return if we ever make it back to Tanzania.

We had a fantastic stay at Breezes Beach Club & Spa. Really everything was great. The place, the personnel, the beach, swimmingpool and the food. Every night (we stayed for 7 nights) there was a different theme with different food. We recommend this place!

Breezes Beach Club & Spa Zanzibar was the perfect ending to our vacation of a lifetime. After an incredible 12-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Alexander + Roberts, we added this destination as a way to unwind, and it exceeded all expectations. The resort is beautifully situated on the white sand beaches of Zanzibar’s east coast along the Indian Ocean. The grounds are lush and garden-like, meticulously maintained to create a truly serene atmosphere. Our mini-suite was spacious, spotless, and kept in perfect order by our attentive room steward. The staff made the experience especially memorable. Every employee we encountered was helpful, caring, professional, and eager to share their knowledge. Dining was also a highlight, with plentiful meals and rotating themes that offered flavors from around the world. The beach itself was breathtaking—warm waters and soft white sands that called us to relax and simply enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. The pool was equally inviting, with clean, refreshing water ideal for a swim or a few laps. For anyone visiting Zanzibar, we would highly recommend Breezes Beach Club & Spa. It provided the perfect balance of rest, relaxation, and warm hospitality—an unforgettable conclusion to our journey.
