Uzuri Boutique Hotel in Jambiani

Absolutely stunning place to unwind in Zanzibar. Lovely pool, plenty of shade, peaceful, traditional decor, comfortable bed, delicious food and above all the sweetest staff who made us feel right at home (thanks so much Elga!) Air conditioning was nice to have but didn’t need too much as the fan did the job. On the beachfront but trees in between made it feel secluded. Dreaming of Zanzibar from rainy Dublin!

Absolutely amazing villa hotel. Staff is super friendly, rooms are large and very comfortable and well designed, the garden with the pool is luxury and you are only 20 meters away from the beach.

Wow, just wow! Elga and her incredible staff really created a little paradise on earth. They went above and beyond to make this our perfect getaway from the daily ratrace. We stayed in the garden suite which was just incredible, decorated beautifully and spacious. Since it’s a small boutique hotel you really have the idea that the villa is there solely for you, with a lot of privacy in the beautiful garden. We already want to go back! Tim & Nathalie

We stayed here a week and everything was fantastic. The staff is amazing, the rooms and accommodations were beautiful! The staff treated us like we were family, and helped us with anything that we needed. It’s very quiet and peaceful because there are only a few rooms, and everything is kept very clean. The location is wonderful, there is plenty to do nearby. We rented a motor scooter for a couple of days and decided this is the best way to get around to see some of the stuff nearby. The food was overall good, but somewhat expensive. It is convenient to have the board service but there is plenty to eat in walking distance if you don’t want it. We both wished we spent more time here and plan to be back if we come to Zanzibar again!

Absolutely amazing place. It is a stone's throw away from the beach and is a few minutes walk away from the nearest small village. The room was gorgeous with an extremely comfortable bed. It was always cleaned somehow and smelled very fragrant. The staff were more than fantastic and ready to help in a heartbeat. The food was delicious with lots of tasty veg and fresh seafood. I couldn't recommend this place more and I hope to be back one day soon 😀

Thank you for the awesome and eventful time, which unfortunately was far too short. My husband and I can wholeheartedly recommend the villa because everything is just right! : Starting with the very high quality villa, which was very individually furnished and designed ... via the direct beach / sea access and a great pool to relax ... to the culinary meal, where we can highly recommend the sea platter ;-) Also all details, like great WiFi und activity organization where just perfect!! A big thank you to Elga, Ali and the team! Like in a harmonious family we felt secure and cared for !! Super helpful and pro-active to give us a superlative vacation. Thanks so much!! It was a great experience - we will miss you and the villa and wish all future guests the best and a great stay !!

All hotels have some spaces for improvement and Uzuri also has it. However, they are still the best hotel on the coast for peaceful, calm and relaxed vacation, and this is why:
1. People - very friendly and always ready to help staff creates home atmosphere in the hotel.
2. It is really small (with only 7-8 rooms), with closed territory (feel very secure) which again helps you to feel at home with only few neighbors whom you know)))
3. Best food in the area. After we tried few restaurants nearby, we realized - in the hotel we have the best price-quality food) The restaurant works only for guests, which is also a benefit)
4. Very clean. We heard a lot about problems with hygiene and sanitary in Zanzibar (and later seen it in few other places), but in Uzuri everything is close to perfect - starting from the territory and pool, and ending your room.
5. The territory of the villa is really wonderful, it seems like nothing super special, but at the same time very cosy.

A lot of other nice things and beautiful memories after 11 night stay, but I have listed the most important from my side. Recommend for sure, if you select Jambiani and quiet peaceful stay - this is your place)))
