Villa De Coco in Jambiani

The location is amazing! Right at the beach. You can have breakfast in the sand.
Also the lodges are super-cute and so nice!
A big compliment to the owner, Mauro. He really cares for the place and takes care of every single customer.
We felt super comfortable at villa de coco and even stayed 3 days longer than planned. One point for imporovement is the food. It is good, there were places, we had better food, though.

Most charming spot in Zanzibar, directly on the beach with undisturbed views of the ocean. Good food at reasonable prices in the restaurant. My favorites - the seafood pasta and the affogati (most variety that I have come across) 😍
Mauro is phenomenal with his kind ways and attention to detail. He really knows how to be there when needed and how to allow you privacy.
I whole-heartedly recommend this charismatic place.

This is my favourite spot in this part of the island. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, the bar and restaurant is open for you. I ate the best pasta in the island here: Chef Penne... Amazing!
No matter what: pasta, fish, vegetables, dessert, cocktails coffee... Everything is great! Also, staff makes you feel like at home, and the decoration makes it really cozzy.

Villa de Coco and Mauro, Villa de Coco's Manager have saved our vacation, because the hotel we booked was hit by a storm. Mauro genuinely hosted us (9 persons) and the stay was more than great! Everything put me at ease, the environment, the very well maintained room, the truly wonderful garden, the white beach right in front of the room and the welcome from Mauro and all the employees of Villa de Coco, always smiling, reliable, friendly and helpful. Also, he offered us a free late check out. 0I really relaxed and fully enjoyed all the services I was offered, including the delicious food served in front of the sea. Villa de Coco is now in my heart and I will be back!

Located on one of the best beaches of Jambiani no matter the tide, the place is intimate, offers excellent cocktails, and the bar tenders are all very friendly, a special notice to Josephine's smile :) the rooms are impeccable, beautiful traditional wooden floors, spotless clean, safe, with hot water (and pressure) round the clock. The manager, extremely professionnal, is always here to make sure you have everything you need. From the pool, you can see the beach and its activities, but none can see you.. finally, unbeatable value for money for the spot. Go!
