IFA Beach Resort in Jambiani

We returned to IFA for a vacation, since our visit with them in 2023 was absolutely wonderful! The location of IFA Beach Resort is ideal as it sits at the very beachfront, offering beautiful scenery. The staff members are warm and friendly, always ready to serve and help in any way possible. Rooms are clean and air conditioning provides a much needed break from the Zanzibar heat! Fridges in the rooms give an option for keeping cold drinks. Food here is absolutely delicious and prices highly affordable. The pool area is kept tidy and inviting, which is especially great when the tide is low. Our family of three generations enjoyed ourselves very much and will continue to return to this wonderful location for vacations in years to come!

My family and I had an absolutely perfect stay at IFA Beach Resort ! The hotel is beautifully maintained, ideally located in a calm and peaceful setting, and the reservation team took a good care of my requests to give us an incredible spot right by the sea. Falling asleep every night to the soothing sound of the waves was simply magical … But above all, what made our experience unforgettable was the team ! They are wonderful I would like especially to mention : Mr Ali who took care of our reservation and made sure we were nicely welcomed Said, Andrew and captain Haji who taught us swahili and took care of us always and made sure we were not missing anything and tailing their service to make us as comfortable as possible. Our superstar Sihaini and Ahmed feeding us with excellent dishes always with a big smile and a funny word to put us in a good mood ! They quickly felt like part of the family, always warm, attentive, and ready to share genuine moments of hospitality coming from the heart. We enjoyed many convivial and memorable times together, which made our stay even more special. Everything was flawless from our arrival until our departure, and we will definitely be coming back !

The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Not forgetting the stunning sea views with a clean and well maintained pool

I've been three times. In many ways a good place. -Still the restaurant doesn't get enough material, so everything is often over but there is business. The sheets and pillows are now in order, at least in my room. The swimming pool is ok but again I had to point out that even the top of the pool has to be wiped daily otherwise it will get green, maybe the pool people get a bad salary, people with Indian glasses are sometimes too economical. -masai call a place to stay, a house where no one is at work. I think too many people just bother, less, better is best. Noisy room neighbors keep between commands, a night of peace for the elderly, though when it should start. I have a loud speaker that I can use to communicate with hard-hearted people. As the mother of my children said, I hear thee, and thou hearest me. Cleaning has improved since last year but on a longing, the cleaners are on call in the big hall from morning and make noise and play music, meaning the $ 70 room doesn’t fall asleep for long mornings. Breakfast is great even though there is no bacon and no sausage but bring your snack to the table and get as much as you can eat. The staff is great but fit the room rates exactly. Good place

Beach side
The location is perfect, directly on the long, nice and pretty calm Jambiani beach. The hotel has a large garden with flowers and palm trees around the pool area. Some sun beds directly on the beach (with a small fence so vendors not walking straight in)

We had a large basic room eith big bed and huge balcony with excellent sea view.

Very good hotel with great workers. Very well located in front of the beautiful sea. Thank you for everything !
