Consists of a set of seventeen 2-3-storey buildings and villas.

Beach: private sandy beach and adjacent to the public beach 50 m away (1 coastline). Between the hotel and the beach is the promenade. On the beach "Côtémer Beach Club": umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge.

The multiple pools were a real highlight! The cold towels, fruit skewers etc throughout the day by the pool too were amazing!
Overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely return
The only downside was that the adults-only pool was almost always full, so it wasn’t easy to enjoy a quiet swim.
The only thing that left me a little disappointed was the security guard at the beach gate. He kept asking if I was really staying at the hotel when I returned from having dinner with friends nearby. I completely understand that it’s his responsibility to ensure guests’ safety, but simply asking to see my room key or hotel card would have been sufficient
Despite that small incident, everything else was wonderful — great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely love to come back again!
The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the facilities are amazing: three different pools, all surrounded by nature. There are several restaurants inside the hotel and the food is delicious. Plus, you have a well equipped gym.
The location is also great, right next to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay - highly recommend!
We always choose a Private Pool Suite and were delighted again this year. Great room and a great garden with a private pool. The garden is partially covered and has a wide daybed, so you can enjoy the outdoor area even when it rains. The garden and pool are thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.
The restaurants in the complex are of high quality and can be recommended without reservation at ultimately acceptable prices. I am already thinking about returning to our “second home in Thailand” in 2026. Once again, many thanks to the entire team and especially to Peter from Inga and Andreas
We always enjoy coming to The Slate and are already looking forward to a future stay. Please keep up the good work at this high level. We enjoyed it very much once again.
Location is good;
Its sport bar with complimentary drink is perfect;
The service in general is cool,
Yet its service during breakfast is far from perfect:
1. Collecting the finished plates and delivering cooked eggs is slow; servers are chatting amongst themselves
2. Our seats were taken by another couple, which is quite unbelievable as a rather junior server didn’t realise the seats were taken. That’s quite awkward to both couples.
Additionally, during one of the housekeeping services, my jacket got swept into the laundry cleaning through the bed sheets. We only noticed the jacket was missing upon checkout and notified the hotel. IMPORTANT: They said they’ll contact us if found.
We had time to kill, around 5hours before heading to the airport and upon security screening, through no fault of theirs, I realised i also left my Ipad at the hotel. I was in the terminal at that point and called the hotel.
They said: “Yea we found an ipad in your room, also you were missing something else correct?” I said yes my jacket as well.
Turns out they had found both my ipad in the room and jacket in the laundry, and did not bother contacting me after checking out until I called them to ask about it. If they had notified us about this, we could have returned to the hotel and picked it up, instead we were stuck in the airport terminal…
They did manage to return us the items through the great help of the airport staff and swift concierge service, but all this could be avoided if they called me? Or emailed me as they said they would if they found something?
Truly disappointing.
The hotel is very close to the airport and they can organise airport transfer for 600batt per van. The beach is right across the narrow road from the hotel, it’s not that beautiful but it’s full of beach restaurants where you can enjoy sunsets while drinking a cocktail (something you can’t do in Kata or Karon because there are no beach bars or restaurants). I wanted to stay at this location because it’s closer to the port for taking a day trip to Similan islands, so I didn’t expect much from the beach but in the end I loved that location much better than Kata.
I would definitely come back again if I’m in Phuket. The service, the food, everything was 5 star
