The OZO Kohtao in Koh Tao Island

Save yourself the trouble and don't stay here. The owners are Burmese and extremely unpleasant, a stark contrast to the kindness of the Thai people. On their website, they advertise a shuttle bus service, which we considered important and essential due to the hotel's location. It's a lie; they claim they don't offer it, despite having a van with their logo right outside – it just seemed like they didn't want to work. The room has gaps around all the doors, allowing bugs to enter, and even worse, the unbearable smell of a landfill, as it's only a few meters away. Although the pool is nice, we were treated very, very poorly, the location is horrible, and the bed is rock hard. At the end of our stay (which, thankfully, was only one day), they were supposed to take me to the port. But two minutes before, without any detour, was my stop. He told me if I wanted to go there, I should pay for a taxi, as he was only taking me to the port, despite me explaining that it would be better for him too, as he would drive less. I cannot recommend this place at all; they are unpleasant, rude, and arrogant.
