My husband and I spent two weeks at DD Hut in the Honeymoon Suite. We booked the room via Booking including breakfast. We had a very long journey of almost 24 hours and didn't know how to get to the hotel on the way to Koh Tao. After contacting the hotel via Booking to ask if there was a shuttle to the hotel, we were confirmed that we would be picked up even though the driver had already finished work. Our luggage was taken care of and we were taken to the hotel. Once there, we found the beautiful honeymoon decoration on the bed. The honeymoon suite itself is really breathtaking, you have a lot of space there and the view is unbeatable. It was always cleaned very well and the room was always very clean. The hotel has a very good location as it is very close to the tourist centre, but it is quiet here and you can't hear the noise from the restaurants or bars. We were able to this tourist centre and the rest of the island we explored by motorbike. There is a motorbike rental right at the hotel with a very nice employee. On departure, we were taken to the harbour free of charge. All in all, we were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back again if we come to Koh Tao again. I only have one suggestion for improving breakfast: breakfast is exactly the same every day. You could add some variation here. Otherwise, everything was great here too.

Lovely Hotel in the Perfect Spot!
Such a charming hotel, located right at the far end of Koh Tao’s main promenade. We loved that it was peaceful and quiet at the hotel, yet just a two-minute walk from all the action, restaurants, and nightlife.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the pool is absolutely fantastic.

A great choice if you want the best of both worlds – relaxation and convenience!

Great room, with air conditioning. You have a patio and a pool with a view of the seaside. By the ring of a bell you can order drinks straight to the pool. All the staff were very friendly, they deserve a special mention. The room is tidied up every day and you get free drinkable water.

The hotel has an excellent location. The main street, with its huge selection of restaurants, bars, massage parlors, and more, is just a few minutes' walk away. The pier, where you arrive, is also about a 10-15 minute walk.

The room was very nice, and we had a fantastic view – it couldn't have been better.

The amenities were average; there was nothing to complain about, but nothing particularly noteworthy either.

The hotel provides free shuttle service to the pier upon departure. The staff were very friendly.

We stayed here for 3 nights with a large group of 14 people.
We stayed in the new modern blue and white rooms with a nautical theme.
The room was immaculate, location was perfect, with plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk away but couldn't hear any noise from them of a night.

The staff were amazing. My son Ryan decided to join us last minute, and they got him a room booked at their sister hotel, just across the road.
Knowing he was on his own, they always asked about him, checking he was OK.
Great team of staff, but Pat in particular couldn't do enough for us.

We stayed in a sea view room for a 3-night family trip and had a truly memorable time. The room was spacious, very clean, and offered stunning sunset views each evening. The pool was also great—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

But what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff, especially Ms. Pat at reception. She is simply outstanding at her job—always kind, proactive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Whether it was recommending excellent yoga classes, arranging in-room massages, organizing our transport off the island, or helping us book what became the highlight of our trip—a private longtail boat snorkeling adventure with Captain Air—she handled everything with such grace and care.

The snorkeling trip with Captain Air was absolutely amazing. He is an extremely kind and resourceful man who clearly knows the island like the back of his hand. We spent the day circling Koh Tao, stopping at hidden snorkeling spots far from the crowds. The marine life we saw was incredible—we’ll never forget the moment we swam alongside giant sea turtles! Captain Air is also an incredible fisherman, adding another fun touch to the day. If you want a truly memorable and unique experience, book this trip with him. Thank you, Captain Air!

I booked this room for a solo diving trip for my birthday. When I walking into the suite I was immediately in love with the character of this room, and especially the view. The honeymoon suite is for sure perfect for couples, but any one, single or couples who are looking for a beautifuly peaceful room with a killer view. 

I also have to mention a huge shout out to the staff and team. I had a hard day on one island and was concerned leaving early. Instead the staff made me feeel even more welcomed and included, convincing me to stay and enjoy the rest of my trip — which. I am so happy I did. 

If I am being honest .. idk what I liked more, the suite, or the staff — probably the staff. 

Will sure book again if I am ever back in Ko Tao
