Blue Tao Beach Hotel in Koh Tao Island

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel in February and loved it! We had one of the rooms with the net over the sand and I highly recommend it! Easy access to the beach and also the ability to lay out without the sand 😊 The staff was so nice and friendly and the restaurant was right next door so we could literally walk in our socks (no shoes indoors!) from our room to the restaurant which was so good! We had the delicious complementary breakfast there every day and ate there for dinner twice. Great good and drinks!! Gorgeous sunset views from the restaurant and our room!!
We asked about getting a private snorkel boat and were hooked up with an amazing long boat captain who took us to private snorkel spots! That was the highlight of our trip! The hotel is right in the middle of all the action - you can walk to all the restaurants and stores and dive shops. We went out diving one day and enjoyed that as well! Lots of great restaurants to walk to (also walkable to 7/11)! What a wonderful place to stay to enjoy all that Koh Tao has to offer!

Incredible! The service was top-notch (always available, smiling, and ready to help). The rooms are very well located, not too noisy despite the entertainment options right next door! I highly recommend it; it was an excellent experience! The best vacation ever, for absolute relaxation and shared enjoyment as a couple. Thank you to the team for a wonderful time

Our stay at the Blue Tao Hotel was fantastic. The hotel is located right on the beach, where you can jump right into the water in the morning and watch the spectacular sunset in the evening.
The rooms are equipped with everything you need; breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant with a stunning sea view; we have a choice of seven dishes, all beautifully presented and very tasty.
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel driver was also very kind and helpful. The hotel also offers SUP and snorkeling equipment (free of charge).
We spent four nights there, and if we were to come to Koh Tao again, we would definitely choose the Blue Tao Hotel.

I stayed for one week at Blue Tao, and overall it was an amazing experience. From the very first day, the staff and service were truly incredible. Everyone working at the hotel genuinely cares about their guests and goes out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable, welcome, and taken care of.

The restaurant at the hotel also deserves a special mention. The food is very good and consistently high quality throughout the stay.

I did experience some issues with loud music coming from Fish Bowl Beach Bar next to the hotel, especially at nighttime. However, the way the hotel handled this completely changed the experience for me. The staff were extremely understanding and proactive — they moved me to the best room, farthest away from the bar, so I could finally get a proper night’s sleep. They were also very flexible and kind with check-out arrangements due to the party noise.

In the end, I loved the hotel so much that I decided to stay despite the noise. If you can live with a bit of party music nearby, this is hands down one of the best places to stay in Koh Tao. The service, the atmosphere, and the people working here truly make it special. I would absolutely come back.

The location and view of this hotel cannot be beat. The staff are extremely professional, friendly, and readily available 24hrs. They go the extra mile and assist in booking transportation from the pier to the hotel as well as booking the ferry. The hotel location is perfect being right on the beach and very close to good restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend Blue Tao to anyone looking for a very clean hotel with incredible views in a prime location and can't wait to be back.

Clean, modern rooms, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Rooms have absolutely stunning views...looking right at the sunset!

Lovely place, nice staff. Be aware that the "city view" rooms have no balcony therefore cannot dry clothes.

A chic hotel with a beach within reach. The sound of the wave and star gazing are very therapeutic and relaxing. The beach view room has netted bed. The sea view upstairs has the higher perspective of the ocean view and balcony with more privacy. The city view has no view nor balcony to dry cloth. you can enjoy the breakfast with the view at the designated Blue Water. Last but not least, all staffs are super friendly and accommodating. I'm definitely coming back.

This hotel is highly recomment to everyone who want to stay next to beach. People there are very lovely & friendly.
Owner also very kinds and sweet. When we were there We got treat so well. Overall is wonderful service.
