Bow Thong Beach Resort in Koh Tao Island

Lovely location by one of the nicest stretches of Sairee Beach with some snorkeling opportunities. However, it's more a Bungalow park than a resort.

The staff is very friendly and rooms are cleaned regularly. But the rooms themselves are the biggest drawback. We stayed in two different bungalows, the pictures are from the "deluxe" bungalow.

Rooms are very dark and old fashioned. The curtains are extremely light and neither cover the width nor the height of the window. The bathroom is tiny with the shower basically on top of the toilet.
And beware that rooms are overall a lot smaller than advertised on some platforms.

There's a small restaurant between this and the neighboring resort that also serves non-buffet breakfast. But we ended up walking down the beach to other resorts which had breakfast buffets at better value.

If you know what you're getting yourself into it's a decent place to stay. We did find it to be somewhat overpriced compared to other options in the area.
