Ocean View Resort Koh Tao in Koh Tao Island

Place isn’t bad at all for the price, not too sure why a lot of negative reviews. Obviously don’t go in expecting much for a cheaper private room on the island , but it does the job. Staff were also friendly and helpful when I had to go back because left a charger behind.

We absolutely loved the location — it’s right on the beachfront with stunning views of the sea, the mountains, and the beach. Just a short walk to some lovely cafes, and the sunset from the beach near the hotel is truly beautiful.

The hotel is also conveniently located just 5 minutes from the pier.
For the price (under $50), the room was decent — air-conditioned and comfortable enough. Just keep in mind: there’s no shower gel, shampoo, or toilet paper provided in the room, so make sure to bring your own or buy it at the resort’s shop.

Don’t expect anything fancy at this price point, but if you’re on a budget and want to fall asleep and wake up to sea and mountain views, this place is definitely worth it.

Recommended for travelers who value nature and location over luxury.

Great place to stay with the best view in Koh Tao! Just make sure to get the more expensive room as the other doesn’t have the view

Standardroom comes without AC, my booking didnt say that. We got that told during check in. Was not great. But on the other hand we had a very cold shower. At least a bit of cooling down with the bad and hot air in the room.

But nice ocean View. Loved that. Room is very big.

Super nice location! Staff ok, clean ok.
We stayed in this hotel 2 times, in the first room (triple bed room) there was no hot water, the second time was better both for the hot water in the shower and for the view of the room.
Good and fast laundry service!
