Thongtapan Resort in Baan Tai

Wonderful hillside bungalows, stunning beach, great service.

The roads leading to this part of Koh Phangan are treacherous, to say the least. When I arrived on my motorbike taxi, my knuckles were white from hanging on for dear life. I was warmly greeted and shown to my hillside bungalow, which was pristine. This is a family run resort, but every effort was made to ensure a comfortable stay. Linens were immaculate, and toiletries were ample. The a/c was crisp and cool, and my bed was supremely comfortable. The bungalows are set on an incline, so it's a bit of a workout to get around, and at night, I recommend using a torch. There isn't much in the way of nightlife, and there are only a few restaurants and ultra high end resorts in the area, but I think the quiet surroundings are a positive thing. There are a few mom and pop shops about a 10 minute walk away that sell the necessities.

Thong Nai Pan Noi beach is absolute perfection, and a complete contrast to Had Rin, where the Full Moon Party takes place. I highly recommend this resort and this area of Koh Phangan if you want peace and serenity, and stunning views.

This place is amazing. So peaceful and quiet and in the best part of the island in my opinion. Reception - super friendly and helpful, bungalows - simple but have everything you need. Free snorkelling gear and beach chairs to borrow. Nice restaurant (pricey though) and massage place.

Nice resort, good location clean room. Beachfront, nice and relax here.

From the 1st day its was paradise, great service from the employees at the resort and you have a the ease of going to the town village with a lot of nice restaurants and the resort also has a variety of great dishes amd cocktails you can enjoy.

Best beach on Koh Phangan. Nice town Noi and also close to Yai. This is the cheapest resort on Noi, still has all facilities needed.
