Cheap and affordable, the room is big, there is no increase in the price during the Songkran Festival, the service at the front desk and several Burmese sisters are very good, breakfast is cooked to order, it is not far from the dive shop, and the soundproofing of the room is also great👍🏻.
The hotel itself is in an ok location, there are some restaurants and bars nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly and can book taxis and tours. Wi-Fi is hit and miss, most of the time it’s ok. The shower is hot but not very powerful. The biggest issue with the hotel is the smell throughout. I don’t know what the problem is but it absolutely stinks of faeces and sewerage, to the point where I gagged...

Cleanliness was questionable. The dorm part was very run day and grim. Needed a bit of tlc. They turn the air con off in the middle of the night and during the day so you get about 3hr of air con. We rent 2 scooters and they were great! Working perfectly and no any other issues.
Mr Boy is an absolute legend. If you want to rent a Bike or book a Snorkel tour, do it here. We returned the bikes late but it wasn’t a problem at all. The bikes were in a perfect condition compared to other rentals, too.
We rented 2 mopeds for almost a month here. They had the best prices on the island. Super fair with returning part of our prepaid rental fee when we left early.
Overall great experience, very easy to deal with and very competitive pricing.
Highly recommend.

Stayed here as a family of 5 in 2 separate rooms for 5 nights. Rooms were large and spotless. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The location is good, albeit about a 10 min walk from the main strip up a hill. However, it was no bother for us. Would definitely stay here again.
Very professional shop + talented artist! Both me and my boyfriend got a high quality bamboo tattoo here, 4000 baht altogether. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you want a bamboo tattoo in Koh Tao!!

Lovely location if you’re looking for a quieter part of Koh Tao. Set right on a little beach - it’s not great for swimming but perfectly fine for a dip. The rooms were nice - we did have a slight ant problem if that bothers you… Staff were very welcoming. Next door to a 7 Eleven which was ideal.

This is on a family friendly beach and part of the island. Mr. Waan is the best owner. Very good prices for beer, coffee, soda. Meals are great price too. Comfortable rooms. Very nice garden atmosphere. The Burmese staff have limited English and virtually no Thai language ability except the owner who has great English and of course Thsi.
A beautiful place in peaceful Chalok. I lived here for 4 months and could not have asked for a better deal! Extremely reasonable rent for long-term stays, regular cleaning service included. The landlord is a lovely guy and staff were always incredible, overall a great business to support on Koh Tao!
They were able to take me in last minute over the busiest time of year, they were SO friendly! The room was on the 3rd floor and getting up there was a bit of a struggle as the stairs going to the 3rd floor were very steep but I’m young and able.

Perfect place to stay and relax. We got a private room and it was amazing with beautiful beach view. Beach is packed during the day and for good reason. Nice beach with plenty of seats and the snorkelling was great. I was surprised on how many fish I seen and the coral actually been alive and with colour.
You can hire snorkelling gear at the front.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff very accommodating (they allowed us to reduce a night without hassle) and were friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and have great a/c. We stayed here for two nights in one of the mini bungalows just off the beach. The location is serene and the room was really nice and clean. Despite choosing a no aircon room it was not too hot at all. You can rent snorkels from here too which was useful! We did not eat in the restaurant as it was a little tired and run down, however there are several other places on the beach to eat.
I enjoyed my staying in here. Little and quite spartan rooms but quite pleasant and clean.
I had an amazing view on the bay.
Also the food at their restaurant was one of the best in the bay.

There was no water coming out from the shower, had to use their public shower while waiting for the to get the handyman to fix them. Cleanliness was okay, the floor had some sand as everyone wore their shoes into the room, but it wasnt bad.

I really don't understand these low reviews. The rooms are spacious and the place is at walking distance from the chaos, but far enough that you can sleep like a baby at night. I'll stayed in the bungalow first line. Good sleep, clean room, good airco; there was no abat jour, toilet was quite dark. We had 2 big beds. The resort is situated in the center of Sairee beach, where you can find any restorants, many shops, taxi and boats. During the night the room was very quiet.
Staff at the front were great and helpful when it came to which scooter rental place to avoid on the island. The rooms were good and the place has a great pool. It is a very close walk to the beach and bars and restaurants in def would stay here again.

We had the best 5 night stay at the place. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the views are breathtaking.staff are lovely and always happy to help. Can honestly say it was the best place we’ve ever stayed in.

Amazing view with good atmosphere and caring staff (Thank you Emily!). The location is great just a few minutes from the main street and with the option to rent a bike on the spot you really don't need anything else. The room and privet pool give a romantic and intimate vibe which is perfect for couples. I know that if I'm ever back in Koh Tao I'll be staying there again.

There's no restaurant or cafe. Bring your groceries from the city; stores are very far away. There are frying pans, a gas stove, a large refrigerator, and you can eat at the cafe on the neighboring beach across the mountain. It's completely unsanitary, like in Goa, but the food is delicious. We first came to the hotel by chance, 3 years ago and fell in love with this place for its natural beauty. You have to understand that building a hotel on a cliff, in the jungle, right by the sea, and for everything to work, it must be something brilliant. And for the third time on Koh Tao we choose to stay here, for the third year in a row. We will come back again.
The route is very scary, but the hotel is beautiful and has a kitchen.
First we booked, then we read the reviews and got a little scared. But apparently the bad reviews were written by people who were offended by life, cocksuckers. The place is very beautiful, fantastic. It is here that you feel a connection with nature, silence and tranquility. Beautiful location, in the middle of nowhere.... Apartment was spacious, but very basic.
The view made up for everything.
Beautiful room which was outside and with stunning views of the bay. Snorkelling was good there too. Be mindful of steps - there are a lot and they killed my legs off but was a sacrifice for the view. Could do with more fans and one of the fans the wire was broken so unable to use it. Also, would be a good idea to put the fridge on before customers get there so the fridge is actually cool.

Great location in terms of everything being walking distance like great food spots, 7/11, bars, beach and excersions. However it is located right on a strip so it is extremely loud on a night, we changed rooms after our first night as we literally could not fall asleep. The rooms are clean and modern.
Very much noise because it’s in the Main Street area, would recommend only 1 or 2 nights here. Get earplugs! But very nice room and friendly staff
Good, it's in the area, just a short walk to the sea. And the ugly one is a pub next door. ********* is excellent. The staff on the island are very nice. I will definitely go back again.
Great location with lots of clubs and restaurants near by and the room was perfect for what you need, only one thing to keep in mind you will hear the music from the clubs till late and you can hear the chairs moving about from the restaurant upstairs but apart from that a good place to stay.
Its a okay hostel with great location. The hostel is right by the bar where they organize the pub crawl, which we so recommend doing, we had the best time there. If you don’t really like to go out, you should probably avoid this hostel, it’s only because you can hear loud music until early in the morning. So if you are going out every night, this won’t be a problem for you. There is a 5 minute walk...
