The Narima Lanta Island in Lanta Island

We loved Narima! You can’t find a more beautiful location, and sweet personel. Such a Great visit, with good facilities and great food. We had our 7 month old baby with us, and we all had a blast. We would love to visit again in the future!

Despite the weather conditions not always being excellent, the stay was perfect. The Narima crew is very kind and helpful, and the resort is beautiful, immersed in a part of the jungle on the edge of the sea.

What a great find! Narima was everything we hoped it would be and more. The elevated beach facing bungalows while basic, are private, spacious and clean. The comfy balcony chairs are the perfect place to relax and gaze out to the ocean. We spent our days on the private beach or utilising the in-house motorbikes to explore the island. The downstairs beach bar is the perfect afternoon location for lunch and drinks. While there are a few options nearby we found the food at Narima delicious and reasonably priced - we ate all our meals here for 4 days which is a first. It was great to see lots of efforts are being made towards being eco friendly with refillable water flasks, no plastic straws, actually not changing sheets and towels every day (so many places say this and do the opposite!), recycling etc. Special mention must be made of the adorable hermit crabs tracing their patterns all through the beach bar. A big thank you to Nui, Bear and the whole team at Narima for making us feel so welcome. Consistently the service was generous, genuine and attentive. 4 days wasn’t enough! Already planning our next stay ;)

This place is truly special. Even during low season, we felt completely cared for thanks to the wonderful host—a kind and attentive lady who made us feel welcome every single day. From breakfast through to the evening, she was always there with a warm smile and genuine hospitality.

Upon arrival, we were surprised with an upgrade to the best bungalow on the property (A1), located right on the beach. The view was breathtaking, and the bungalow itself was spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily. Waking up to the sound of the waves and stepping straight onto the sand was pure bliss.

The property has its own little private beach, shared only with crabs and hermit crabs—adorable companions! Just a heads-up: swimming during high tide isn’t ideal due to the rocks. But wait for low tide, walk past the rocky stretch, and you’ll find a perfect spot for a refreshing swim.

Because it was low season, the breakfast and dinner menu was slightly reduced, which is understandable. Still, there was plenty of variety, and the food was tasty. Portions could be a bit larger depending on your appetite, but overall, it was satisfying.

When we mentioned we had an early transfer, the host went above and beyond once again—preparing a thoughtful breakfast package for us to take on the road. Such a sweet gesture that really touched us.

If you're visiting Ko Lanta and looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to unwind, this is it. No need to look further.

Tip: Rent a scooter and explore the island—it’s the best way to discover hidden beaches, local markets, and the island’s quiet charm.

Everything was great about the Narima. Staff were attentive and the private beach was great even in off season

We stayed during the low season in July. The Nui and Bear helped to create a really relaxed welcoming atmosphere. I loved being surrounded in the Thai Jungle, with visits from squirrels, monkeys, hermit crabs and frogs. I was so pleased to be served filtered water in reusable drink bottles, not plastic. We could see the effort that the staff put into maintaining a clean beach front and resort.

The kids loved the pool, the fish, the beach access and hermit crabs. Bear took us out to meet the elephants. We hired scooter motor bikes directly from the resort and explored the island that way. Our bungalows were clean and simple, we had everything we needed without too much waste or fuss. Just the way we like it.

So the bungalows are about a 20 min drive from the port. We arrived and were mobbed by local tuk tuk and car drivers to take us the journey which they first tried to charge 1,500 Bhatt we got that down to 1,000 Bhatt. However we now know that's a huge rip off but when you get off at the port it's a bit overwhelming. Locals have said we should have paid 500.

Anyway we arrived at Narima Bungalow Resort - a day early 😬 by accident this is what travelling Thailand does make you lose all sense of what day it is!

This was no problem for Noi, she sorted it out and said we could change our nights not a problem.
We loved it so much we ended up staying longer than planned.

The bungalow was a little dated but had everything you could need. The shower could do with some more power but that's not a big issue for us.
I found the mattress really hard ahaijnnit an issue and Noi ensured that a mattress protector was on the following day. Nothing seemed an issue for Noi and the staff at all.
We hired mopeds from Narima for really cheap and it's a great way to explore the island.

The view from our room was amazing, the sea, the pool, it was tranquil.

I would defo return and recommend Narima Bungalows.

Everything is perfect, bungalow nestled in the jungle above the sea. An exceptional view and impeccable service with all the amenities.

We have booked an A-bungalow (panoramic sea view) for one week, as part of our Thailand trip in March-April 2025. We wanted something traditional, but also with a certain level of comfort. Arriving there we discovered how incredibly beautiful the entire setting is: a sea view that one can enjoy from bed when waking up in the morning, the private beach with the restaurant and bar with all the furniture made from old wood, the pool and the upper level restaurant. Very cozy and clean bungalow, very good food, and most importantly very friendly and helpful staff. We ended up having at least 2 meals a day there -- given our restrictions in diet, both Bear and Nui have been very helpful in identifying all the right possibilities and making sure we got very tasty food that fulfilled our needs. We ended up booking a snorkeling trip based on their recommendation, and were very happy with it. We also had hotel own scooters for most of the time. A truly outstanding experience and package that we hope to repeat again.
