Our room was really beautiful. No european standard, but really clean and nice and we had a view not from this world! Reeeally nice!

Service:
Best service ever!
They can organize everything for you. Just ask them and they try to full fill you every wish!
The service and food in the restaurant is although very good!

Location:
Top location, when you like it relaxed. Many really good Bars and restaurants (Pad Thai Rock n Roll next to the hotel - a must-visit for dinner) and directly at one of the beautiful beaches.
With a scooter you can visit easy National Park for hiking, realxing at the beach or visiting the north.

Amazing resort. This is the second time staying here, the first being 7 years ago. The staff and the resort are amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, but starting to require some repair and the WIFI needs improvement.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful three-day solo trip at The Houben - Adult Only, and it was the perfect escape.

The cliffside location provides absolutely stunning, unforgettable sea views—especially at sunset. It’s the ideal backdrop for a truly relaxing break.

Despite its boutique size, the hotel offers a personalized and intimate atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome and well-cared for, even traveling alone. Their service is world-class.

My room was modern, quiet, and spotlessly clean, offering a private space to unwind completely. The red infinity pool is gorgeous and serene.

A fantastic hotel on the cliff with a great environment and a very peaceful atmosphere.
Although the rooms and hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
It's especially worth mentioning that the hotel's cocktails and food are outstanding, and the location is perfect for enjoying the sunset.
Would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Absolutely great hotel! We stayed one of the villa rooms with the spa/whirlpool bath on the terrace. Huge, clean room with gorgeous views in a private cove. Attentive staff. Lovely breakfast and also ate lunch which was great. Walkable in to town and the beach. Would highly recommend! :)

I LOVED this hotel! I checked in for a two-day stay and ended up extending after just one night. I believe all of the rooms face the coast so guests can enjoy the sunset from their private balcony. The hotel is located on the southern part of Koh Lanta. It's peaceful, gorgeous, and just minutes away from restaurants, beaches, and tourist spots. The hotel sits on a cliff that overlooks the beach, and the walk down is just a few minutes. I recommend dinner at Why Not Bar at the end of the walk to the beach. They do nightly fire shows that are cool to check out while enjoying a drink at the end of the day. Back to Houben Hotel, the service and staff were the highlight of my experience. From check-in to check-out, everyone I met was accommodating and personable. I appreciated the effort from the restaurant staff, who never grew irritated over our language barrier. On my final day, one of the workers beat me to my luggage and carried it out to my taxi. Little gestures like this really make the difference between a great stay and an amazing one. I highly recommend The Houben Hotel!

We’ve stayed in the past at a 5-star hotel in Kantiang bay part of Lanta, and this time decided to try out The Houben, which is equidistant from the village down below. It is a beautiful hotel, adults-only, perfectly situated above a gorgeous little bay. The rooms are beautiful (we stayed in one of the two private suites), all facing the sea, and the special red pool blends wonderfully with the lush greenery all around. Breakfast at the restaurant was perfect, and a number of excellent local restaurants in the village are just a 5-10 mins walk away. The atmosphere in the hotel is that of peace and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Definitely recommended!

If you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Thailand, this is the place. The property is beautiful. The surroundings are lush and green. It truly feels as if you are in a tropical oasis. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The sunset views were breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and room spacious. I loved everything about this hotel. However, the best part was the staff. Everyone was so kind and went above and beyond to make my stay the best. Many thanks to Auf and Tak who helped during my stay and were an absolute delight. I cant wait to return!
