Absolutely beautiful place and great value. We had rain for 2 of the 4 days we were there but we didn't mind as our room had a bath on the balcony with a seaview, was very clean and cosy with a huge TV. Very clean rooms, very very very comfortable bed, and very good balcony with lounge chairs. Some minus points but no big deal. Need to walk up the steps as it's on a slope. Small parking space, some road noise but there's not much traffic anyway, 1 or 2 mosquitoes that's about it. Location is ok, short drive to everything else.

The location is great, the house is very close to the beach, and there are supermarkets nearby, making it convenient for eating and drinking. The room amenities are decent. The Wi-Fi signal is a bit weak in some rooms, not all, but it's better in rooms closer to the stairs. The staff are very friendly, and the room price is reasonable. It's a good choice.

Wonderful stay in Koh Lanta! The guesthouse is incredibly well-located, just a 1-minute walk from the pier. Hana (apologies if I've misspelled the name) was a fantastic host, making us feel perfectly welcome and attending to all our needs. Absolutely no complaints, we highly recommend it and will definitely return if we can!

Good, small, compact but complete.

Near the pier, clean, with water cooler, hot water, microwave and refrigerator for storing food. There is a recreation room, convenient transportation. Nearby there are restaurants, not far from the pier there are many small shops serving drinks, or walk a little further.

We were forced to spend six nights at this hotel because another booking fell through at the last minute. What we can say right now is that we would never want to spend another night there. We've been coming to Koh Lanta for several years and have tried various hotels, but this one definitely ranks last in our personal list. The existing, and mostly positive, reviews are incomprehensible to us....

Pros: Great location – Klong Dao Beach is just a couple of minutes away via a concrete path to the left of the hotel entrance (though swimming can be tricky at low tide). It's also close to the good northern part of Long Beach. There's a decent-sized 7/11 right across the road. The hotel offers a terrace area with low tables and floor cushions, perfect for smokers. Good but expensive. Comfortable bunk bed room, bathroom, and entry lounge area. Only complaint is the water plant propagations in the lounge and lobby are a breeding ground for mosquitoes — SO many larvae squirming around….Hard not to worry about mosquitoes at night (I avoided the area).

Fantastic family run guest house! Lovely friendly owners, we really appreciated the complimentary fruit every morning. Great location, short 10 min walk to beach/market, with supermarket, restaurants and massage salons on your doorstep. Room was cleaned every day and was spotless! Thank you!

I stayed in 3 different room types here and they were all great. The hotel is right beside the old town with plenty of delicious restaurants over the sea. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountain views. Bird, there guy who owns the hotel, was so helpful with anything I needed. This will be one of the few places I will recommend for accommodation in Thailand. The people at Tonmai made our stay all the more desirable. Our bungalow was clean and spacious. They offered bike and laundry service. Also extremely well at communicating, which we have found hard to come by. I preferred to stay in the old town as well, due to its peaceful nature and good selection of restaurants.

Fantastic place to stay. We had a week here an loved every minute of it. The suite we booked was large, comfortable and had amazing views out over the ocean. Bird (the owner) was super friendly and always available to help and advise via WhatsApp if you ever needed him. The old town of Koh Lanta is so beautiful and as far as we are concerned, the best place to stay on the island. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 4 nights and we are very happy with it. This hotel got the largest room available in whole island, it got more than 50m2 available for very reasonable price. Wonderful place! Simple and on the main street, about a 5 minute walk from the beach. Despite a few ants (which is normal in Southeast Asia), everything was very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Bonus: 3 friendly cats and a dog live there and will frequent the rooms. We made a buddy out of the owner's cat, Donkey!

Really liked that hostel. Located 3min. walk from Long Beach and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and there are curtains. The lady at reception was very helpful with planning trips. Scooter rental was available for 200Baht/24h. Free breakfast is delicious.

I loved staying at Non La Mer! Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful, there is a great chill area with hammocks and cushions and free yoga twice a week with Nora, who is an amazing instructor. It’s clean and quiet with adorable cats, some musical instruments, free eggs/toast/coffee/etc for breakfast. Highly recommend. Dorm room beds have curtains and lockers.

I love non la mer! Owner Nora is so nice, offering a simple but quality space with good price in Koh Lanta. They friendly provided me with all the informations for my trip. Highly recommend! They have yoga, cats, and any booking services.

I stayed in many hostels while traveling, and this hostel is the best hostel i stayed ever. Everything is clean and they are really helpful, they will help you on what things to do in the island, also you can book ferry, busses and trains from the hostel with good prices. The community in this hostel is something else, everyone friendly and they gonna treat like you are part of family.

I liked that what you see in the photos is what you get. This is a lovely, family-friendly resort with bungalows that have great access to the beach. You can't beat the beach view. Honestly the beach is Absolutely amazing! You cannot beat it! However I totally regret getting the outdated fan room. The room looked like it was built in the 1970s and didn't have any renovations since.
